In the follow-up to Colleen Hoover’s #1 New York Times bestseller Hopeless, the charming and irresistible Dean Holder tells the passionate story that has melted thousands of hearts.

In Hopeless, Sky left no secret unearthed, no feeling unshared, and no memory forgotten, but Holder’s past remained a mystery.

Still haunted by the little girl he let walk away, Holder has spent his entire life searching for her in an attempt to finally rid himself of the crushing guilt he has felt for years. But he could not have anticipated that the moment they reconnect, even greater remorse would overwhelm him…

Sometimes in life, if we wish to move forward, we must first dig deep into our past and make amends. In Losing Hope, bestselling author Colleen Hoover reveals what was going on inside Holder’s head during all those hopeless moments—and whether he can gain the peace he desperately needs.

OMG!!! I just had to put away my tissues, Losing Hope is simply astounding!!!!  Ok, focus! Now…… I really loved Hopeless, the first book in this series, but after reading Losing Hope, knowing exactly what was going to happen, I couldn’t imagine loving it more … but I did!! I think being told from Holders POV makes it so much more amazing and I loved everything about it. I cried, laughed (at Daniel), awwwwed, swooned and cried again, it was that remarkable! I am speechless!!

I thought I fell for Holder in Hopeless, but I am head over heels in love with him after this book. He is an amazing person and has dealt with so much. Some of the situations that he got himself into, I’m sure I would’ve done as well just to avenge the people I love. He appears to be the perfect, drop dead gorgeous guy but he has a big heart and we understand the depth of his feelings in Losing Hope.

Seeing Sky through his eyes is incredible too. He worships her and he puts her on a pedestal. They have amazing chemistry and they have the best first kiss that isn’t a kiss…. OMG!! I’m pretty sure my legs gave way when Sky’s did too. I must say that I liked seeing Daniel in this one, he had me cracking up. He is the type of person that would have your back. He is funny and very unpredictable but has an unspeakable bond with Holder.

Even though the plot is the same from Hopeless, it was just as good the second time around. I liked having the inside knowledge but to see it all differently through Holder’s eyes, makes me speechless!! Colleen Hoover has an amazing writing style. The chapters are not always titled how you expect, one actually being titled Chapter 39, 39 1/2, 39 ¾. Even those small things made be giggle! But how she has built both of these books is unbelievable, they are emotional rollercoaster rides and I’m not afraid to admit that I cried my eyes out! I got so caught up in the story and glued to the pages that I couldn’t put it down to the very end. If you haven’t read these books I highly recommend you to do so! But make sure you have your tissues stocked before you start!!

I received a copy of this book from the Publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
