Accidentally on Purpose is not a read for everyone... and I even struggled with some aspects, but I am glad I read it until the end because it was done so well! I'm keen to read more in this series now!

Not all relationships are black and white, and I know humans aren't perfect, so this story is about the mistakes and bad judgements that can be made in the purpose of finding true love. I know this story can be hard to like and there were a lot of elements that I enjoyed, others that I disliked, but put it altogether and it turned out to be a great story.
I liked getting to know Emmy, the successful and bright office worker for Kyle Sterling. She really disliked Kyle in the beginning and it was interesting to see him through her eyes so I could understand the love/hate relationship that she had with him. They had serious chemistry in bed, but could it be something more when they were both in relationships?
Kyle was an arrogant and strong willed person and I could see that he was determined to get what he wanted. He was easy to be with and I could see why Emmy liked him so much. But Kyle made me so angry as he would tell Emmy all the things that she wanted to hear, but seemed to string her a long. My feelings for Kyle changed a lot throughout the story and I wanted Emmy to see him for what he really was.

A relationship developed between Emmy and Luke as well, and I liked seeing them together. He was the greatest guy and I could see that he was falling for her hard and they both developed strong feelings for one another. However, I annoyed me that Emmy wasn't completely honest with!
It was good to see this book unfolded over a few years, so I could see a lot of change in the characters lives. Emmy faced a lot of difficult situations, and learned more about herself and the woman she became. It was sad to see that her relationships with her parents and family were strained in the beginning, and she really didn't like her mother, but I loved seeing it change over the years.
I will tell you now, that if you don't like cheating in your reads, you might want to pass on this book. Accidentally on Purpose was focused on a couple that found a connection, but they were also in other relationships. There was a twist that I didn't even see coming until right towards the end of the book that will make you look at the whole story differently, and I thought that L.D. Davis did it so well! I wasn't expecting it at all and made me look at the whole story differently.
I really loved this moment! It was sweet and just what Emmy needed!
"What's with all of the fucking little kisses lately?" I asked. "I don't know if you're kissing me like I'm a pet or like a friend or like a lover. They're really conflicting kisses!"
He laughed and looked at me with something like adoration and said "I'm sorry. Let me clear that up for you." He put his hand under my chin and gently tilted my head and kissed me.
