Baya Brighton is looking forward to her first year at Whitney Briggs University, new friends, dorm life, and finally being close to her brother again. Love is the last thing on the list, but when Baya meets her brother’s roommate she begins to have thoughts and feelings that make even her blush.

Bryson Edwards has a secret he prefers buried in the past and long forgotten. He prefers loose girls, fast cars, and long nights working at the string of bars his family owns. When his roommate’s sister shows up on the scene, she’s far too innocent and sweet for him but he can’t shake Baya out of his mind and worse, it looks like she’s seeping into his heart as well.

Baya seems determined to show her brother she’s not a little kid and equally determined to use Bryson’s body to prove her point. It’s been made pretty clear that Baya is off limits to Bryson but their undeniable sparks explode into a whole lot more than just a few 3:AM KISSES.
I read a review by Liz @ Fictional Candy about 3:am Kisses and I knew I just had to read this book. It was definitely my kind of read filled with witty remarks, great chemistry and awesome swoon worthy moments.

Baya is beginning her first year of college at Whitney Briggs where her older brother Cole has spent the last 3 years. She is ready to live her own life and experience new things for herself and to lose one thing in particular, the big V card. What I really liked about Baya is how innocent she portrays herself to be, but is such a witty, dirty minded girl! She had me cracking up at all the funny remarks and the rants that she mostly has with herself. And if I was to flash my boobs, I would die of embarrassment, but she takes it all in her stride! And when she tried to impress Bryson, by flaunting her assets and putting on fake eyelashes, she had me in stitches! I could tell the lashes were a bad idea.... And I was yelling at the book, No! Don't do that! but of course she did it anyway and was humiliated. I was ready to slap her brother though. He shouldn't let his skanks speak to Baya like that.

Bryson I liked very much! He has been a bit of a ladies’ man for the past 3 years and along with Cole, they have the notches to prove it. They have been best friends since they began college together, and have a competitive streak when it comes to hooking up with girls. When Bryson meets Baya, you can see the shift in his ways and he is trying hard to be worthy of her. Don't get me wrong, he very much wants to be with Baya, but is taking it slow because she is different from other girls.

Baya and Bryson had a funny first meet, and it wasn't long before they realised they would see more of each other due to a common person, Cole. Cole is very protective of Baya, and has warned Bryson to stay away, but there is no denying the spark between them. Bryson tries to keep the distance, but Baya is very persistent and is able to push him. So, when she ends up sleeping on their couch, it just makes it that little bit harder for him.

This is the first book of Addison Moore’s that I have read and I have quickly become a fan. When I highlight a lot of passages from a book, I know I am enjoying it. Each chapter has both POV’s and I enjoyed seeing what both of them were thinking. There was a little twist in the end that I didn't see coming that has plagued Bryson's nightmares for 5 years. I was glad things were resolved for him because he is a great character. The secondary characters were great too, and once I got to the end of the book, I found that they are all getting their own stories! Squee! I'm looking forward to it!

  1. Baya sounds like a lot of fun and Bryson sounds like a major player, but I like that he has a good guy inside. ;) Great review.
