Haunted by a secret
Sometimes, love isn't easy...

He watched her, but never knew her. Until thanks to a chance encounter, he became her savior...

The attraction between them was undeniable. Yet the past he'd worked so hard to overcome, and the future she'd put so much faith in, threatened to tear them apart.

Only together could they fight the pain and guilt, face the truth - and find the unexpected power of love.

A groundbreaking novel in the New Adult genre, Easy faces one girl's struggle to regain the trust she's lost, find the inner strength to fight back against an attacker, and accept the peace she finds in the arms of a secretive boy.

I have been meaning to read this book for sometime due to all the positive reviews from my blogger friends and I must admit how much I enjoyed it! There was so much growth in the characters from beginning to end and even though there are a lot of sweet moments, there are some dark aspects, which help make relationships stronger. Overall it is a book anyone should enjoy, because there is a big message in it that you will take away from it when you are done.

Jacqueline is such a nice character and I liked getting to know her. She has struggled as of late with her personal life and things get worse before they get better. She finally decides enough is enough and pulls herself out of her slump. The guy that helps her now seems to be everywhere and I could see her connection with him getting stronger every time they were together.

I really loved Lucas too. He seems to be everywhere and does so many good things. Jacqueline could see that he had a few demons but spending time with him helped her grow as a person. When they were together, it felt like fireworks were exploding! They had amazing chemistry and I loved them together. Things aren’t always smooth sailing though, but they know that they will help one another at the drop of a hat. When his demons came to the surface, I think my heart actually shattered like Jacqueline’s did… my jaw hit the floor and I was eager to see how these two would deal with the knowledge.

Easy did have a strong storyline beneath the building relationship and it is one that affects a lot of people. I loved the message that the author put into the story and I wanted to *fist pump* for all the women out there! There was a great mix of humour and swoon moments along with the serious storyline. I think Tammara Webber has spun this tale beautifully and she really draws you in to characters you can relate to. I am keen to get my hands on Breakable and see Lucas’ POV… and I know I will probably be shattered all over again!!

  1. Yes!! I loved this book SO much. But Breakable was wayyyy better. You learn so much more about Lucas, through his whole life, and not just the present story. It's just such a good story overall <3

  2. All of your blogger friends can't be wrong, right!? I've read so few books with actually messages in them nowadays that I think this one will be refreshing. Thanks for the recommendation, I can't wait to meet Lucas and Jacqueline!

  3. Yup, this was a goodie. I was getting so mad at the sorority girls, but then they surprised me. I think I got the most emotional during their little meeting. Stick together girls! :D

  4. I tried reading this one a few months ago and never finished it. I didn't necessarily DNF it, I just never picked it back up. I think that was because I was not in the mood for a contemporary love story. But I really want to re-start it and finish it soon because what I did read wasn't bad at all. Also because I've been in the mood for a love story lately.
    Great review Naomi :D
