The Princess & The Biker
A modern day Romeo & Juliet story.

Ryder Knox wants freedom from the hatred churning in his gut. Saved by the Scorpio Stingers MC boys, he owes his life and allegiance to them—they are his family.
He doesn’t need a smart mouthed woman who pushes every one of his buttons. But he can’t get Jade out of his head.

Jade Summers is a good girl. She wants a man just like her lawyer daddy.
Not the alpha male, cocky biker who storms into her life, who looks like a sex god with tattoos and piercings. He’s demanding, controlling and won’t take no for an answer.
Their chemistry is off the charts and they are drawn to one another like magnets. Neither can resist the other.

Two worlds collide. Their families are determined to tear them apart.
With everything stacked against them, is what they have strong enough to overcome the odds?
They must choose: family or one another.
The ultimate price may be too high.
Will their polar opposite worlds destroy and rip them apart forever?

My friend Itara @ My Midnight Fantasies told me I just had to read this series and because I have been meaning to dive into the world of bikers, when I saw this pop up for 99c, I just had to grab it. I am so glad that I did because I really enjoyed it. It was intense, hot and steamy.

Today I will split my reviews for both the novella and the full length book.

Ryder

Ryder (Scorpio Stinger MC, #0.5)Ryder is a great insight into the two main characters Ryder and Jade; I saw how they first met, how they deal with their feelings and got some insight into their pasts. It is a definite must read if you are going to dive into this series. Ryder's past is explained in detail and it really is heart-breaking to see what he has been through.

I think that this novella was written well and really did capture my interest so that I'd want to keep reading. Ryder and Jade push each other's buttons, and the banter between them just made their connection stronger and harder to resist. It was amusing to see that this one spoilt Princess could be Ryder's Achilles Heal!

Two Worlds Colliding

Two Worlds Colliding (Scorpio Stinger MC, #1)
Two Worlds Colliding continues immediately after Ryder. We see deeper into Ryder's life and how Jade's family effects their relationship. Ryder learns so much more about himself but still understands that his first loyalty is to the club. Jade has some issues to deal with, but is finding it hard to resist the bad boy. Someone like him is definitely not in her life plan, but she is finding it more and more difficult to stay away.

When these two are together, it is scorching hawt (fans self). They have amazing chemistry and Ryder sure knows how to pleasure a woman! They have more hurdles to get past but cannot resist one another. One minor thing that annoyed me was how closely Ryder and Jade's families do entwine, it is a huge helluva coincidence, and I did roll my eyes at it. Once maybe, but twice? *Shrugs shoulders* Ryder and Jade's story is not over yet and I am looking forward to reading more in this series.

  2. I'm relieved to hear that RYDER succeeded in its mission which was to get you to read the full length book. More often than not, I feel like shorts are just a money grab. I can't wait to read Ryder and Jade's story for myself!

Yay I'm so glad you liked them! Thanks for mentioning me, I didn't expect that, I just saw that you reviewed something I recommended you and I wanted to know what you thought. I really liked this series and I can't wait to see what happens next. This story is definitely new to me, I haven't read anything like it, the whole Romeo and Juliet thing, it's cute. I hate her brother though, because of a certain incident. He can't play God, nobody can, so that pissed me off to no end.

I loved Ryder from the beginning, (no pun intended haha) his story really touched my heart. It's hard for me to read stories like his because I'm too emotional and I don't like people suffering. He's such a good person though.
