2 brothers... 1 girl...

I never expected to be that girl. The one desiring the touch of two brothers and being thrust into a world of intense pleasure. Not in reality anyway.

Both of these brothers are out to please and they both have the equipment to do it. The Wilder brothers have proved that.

Kyan Wilder fucks like no other man I've ever experienced. He's rough, creative and still willing to be gentle when you need it. He's every single woman's desire brought to life and he's not willing to let me go until he's done pleasing me in every possible way he can.

Hunter Wilder is a loose cannon. He likes to party, get wild and then show you a good time in the bedroom. He keeps me pleased and reminds me that I'm still young and not everything in life needs to be so serious.

We're all fine with sharing. Things are going smoothly. It saves the brothers from having to commit and it ensures that I'll always get the sexual satisfaction that I desire. I mean what girl doesn’t dream of having sex with the two most sinfully sexiest brothers to walk this earth?

Well I didn’t… Until I got a taste.

But then I remembered that nothing this good lasts forever...

Victoria Ashley is a master at creating stories and characters that stick with me for a long time, and she has done it again with Thrust! Calla is a professional photographer, and after a fun night at the bar Kyan convinces Calla to take his photos for a cover to a romance book… that right there had me hooked! Just thinking of those sexy covers and what goes on behind the scenes had my head whirling!!

Calla is such a fun and relaxed girl. She has a great attitude towards life, and I liked how she was willing to try something outside her comfort zone. Her first meeting with Kyan was pretty entertaining and it was good to see her being herself around him, not trying hard to impress him.

Kyan is a ripped and gorgeous businessman, who can charm and seduce any girl with ease. He prefers the no attachment type of relationship because he is unwilling to give his heart away. He was upfront with Calla about what he wanted and I could tell he had demons in his past. I liked how easily Calla was able to make a connection with Kyan, they were very comfortable around each other and not a lot of that awkwardness.

Hunter is the carefree playboy who will sleep with any girl he’s attracted to. He is very confident and charismatic, and was quick to use his skills with Calla. They had an easy arrangement and I liked seeing their easy friendship and sizzling passion grow. Both guys treated Calla well and neither of them left her unsatisfied, it was always hot and steamy… no wonder she was content to be with both.

Calla’s past is brought to attention and soon she realises she has to face the people that shattered her heart. Even though it was difficult for her, I liked seeing her stand up and face it. It took a lot of courage and I was happy to see that she had support. Her best friend Tori was an entertaining character, I tell you! She is the blunt voice of reason and will have Calla’s back no matter what!

Thrust was a quick read which had an easy feel to it. All the characters are amusing and the story line was entertaining right until the very end. I liked how Calla was able to grow throughout the book and became a better person in the end. I liked how the story wrapped up, and I am now curious as to what will happen with Tori in the future, she has no filter and her book would be hilarious!

“He practically just kissed you.”
“Yeah, but he didn’t,” I say, somewhat disappointed.
“More proof that you’re fucking him.” She grins while opening the fridge and tossing a bag of salad inside. “Men do that when they’re trying to keep their hearts out of the mess that their dicks have them in. He’s trying not to fall for you, honey. This is perfect for you. You’re not ready to open your heart up again and he’s not ready to give his. Perfect arrangement.”

Victoria Ashley grew up in Rockford, IL and has had a passion for reading for as long as she can remember. After finding a reading app where it allowed readers to upload their own stories, she gave it a shot and writing became her passion.

She lives for a good romance book with tattooed bad boys that are just highly misunderstood and is not afraid to be caught crying during a good read. When she’s not reading or writing about bad boys, you can find her watching her favorites shows such as Sons Of Anarchy, Dexter and True Blood.

She is the author of Wake Up Call, This Regret, Slade, Hemy, and Get Off on the Pain. Victoria is currently working on more releases for 2015.

  1. Oh geez, Naomi, you just have to tempt me with another VAshley book! ;) I still need to read Slade and Hemy, as I one-clicked those after your reviews. ;) Thrust sounds like a compelling read. I like that there seems to be something serious going on besides all the good sex. I'm curious about what Calla's past is. And I really, really, want to meet the Wilder brothers. ;) I'll put this one on my wishlist, girl!

  3. I like characters without a filter, so the BFF sounds awesome to me. I like the idea in general, and the fact that Calla turns out brave enough to deal with her troubled past. You can't NOT love a brave gal :)
