Devan Stowe is a woman on a quest. She has only one thing on her mind when she teams up with Kent Crosby and his associates—putting an end to her father’s child trafficking business. Her determination takes her on a journey to discover her true strength and… the one man she was destined to love. In his arms, she’ll learn the meaning of trust, honor, and courage. Old friends and new will come together to help Devan unlock an amazing gift that will free her from her past and open up a future full of magic, faeries and more things than she ever imagined possible.

Witch Way Bends is a fantastic read and I couldn’t help but be absorbed into the world that Olivia Hardin had created. She has taken the usual Paranormal worlds that I have imagined and put more of a magic spin to it as Witches are the main characters in this series.

After discovering her Father’s child trafficking business, Devon Stowe wants to put a stop to it. But she doesn’t realise the Paranormal world actually exists until she is on a mission with Kent and his team. It is after this mission that the story begins. Not only has Devon been kept in the dark by Kent and his team, but we are too. I couldn’t help but keep reading as I needed to know what was going on.

After some of the secrets were revealed I was then unable to put the book down as the plot was getting bigger than I imagined. Devan is able to trust Kent and Langston as they help her discover more about herself. She is very timid to begin with, but she no longer wants to stand by and watch the boys do all the work, she wants to help. She then becomes a bit more aggressive and doesn’t back down.

You can see that Kent and Devon have a connection but neither of them are sure how to act on it. Kent isn’t used to dealing with someone like Devon, but he feels very protective of her and tries to keep her at a distance so she doesn’t get hurt. What no one realises (except maybe Langston) is that she is quite capable of looking after herself. Once she determines that she may have a power they all make it their priority to train her as best as they can.

When Devon’s ‘friend’ Roonie makes his appearance I instantly liked him. He brings humour to the story and I love his witty comments!! He has been Devons friend for as long as she can remember and he is able to guide and calm her when she least expects it.
The story is very fast paced and has a gripping plot. I enjoyed the magical element that Olivia has added to it. I was able to connect to the characters easily and enjoyed the chemistry that developed between all of them. We had some fun fighting scenes and couple of sex scenes in the story, but nothing too graphic. I liked how this book ended, but I’m really excited to see how the story will continue!!

Come back tomorrow for my stop of the Bitten Shame Tour, Book 2 of the Bend-Bite-Shift Trilogy
