There's Wild, Then There's You (The Wild Ones, #3)
Title: There's Wild, Then There's You
Author: M. Leighton
Series: The Wild Ones #3
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Published: June 3rd 2014

He’s someone she can’t trust…

She’s someone he thinks he knows…

Violet Wilson is a wallflower. Shy, serious, and accident-prone, she’s got a bad habit of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. The night she’s forced to pose with her friend might just be the worst time of all—that’s when she meets Jet Blevins. She knows better than to get involved with someone like him, but he touches her in ways she never expected, never wanted before.

On the outside, Jet is a typical rocker, an arrogant lead guitarist who unapologetically lives a wild lifestyle. But on the inside, he’s battling demons and using the stage to escape the troubles of his past and the addictions of his present. Until the night he sees Violet standing at the back of the room. She brings his life into focus. She knows his secrets. She’s the girl he can’t forget, and the one thing he craves more than his addiction.

But can they ever hope to have a future when their very foundation is nothing but lies?

I’m a massive fan of M. Leighton and I have been eager to get my hands on There’s Wild, Then There’s You. She has that kind of writing style that manages to sweep me away into her books. I fall for the characters, I love the humour that she injects into the story and the plot always has some twists thrown in. You also get that building relationship and you are secretly rooting for them to get it together!!

Violet is a closed off type of girl who likes to fix people. She stands back and waits for the people around her to fall so she can help them piece things back together. She is sweet and passionate, but you can see she is a little fragile too. Jet… Holy Hotness!! He had me from the first time I met him. You can see he has secrets and the more time he spends with Violet, the more reluctant he is to tell her. He’s confident, sexy and has women falling at his feet. But when he has his sight set on something, he always gets it.

Usually I love the best friend, but it took me a little while to warm to Tia. Once I saw more of her I grew to like her. She is often self absorbed but will do anything for Violet. I liked getting a glimpse of Jake and Laney too and how these books all link together.

I really loved this book. It made me feel good while reading it and I want to run out and snag myself the lead singer/guitarist of a band! It has some sizzling scenes, plenty of swoony moments and a great storyline that had me eagerly flicking the pages to see if they would get their happily ever after! If you haven’t tried a M. Leighton book as yet, I recommend this series; it is a light, gritty and sexy series!

New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author, M. Leighton, is a native of Ohio. She relocated to the warmer climates of the South, where she can be near the water all summer and miss the snow all winter. Possessed of an overactive imagination from early in her childhood, Michelle finally found an acceptable outlet for her fantastical visions: literary fiction. Having written over a dozen novels, these days Michelle enjoys letting her mind wander to more romantic settings with sexy Southern guys, much like the one she married and the ones you'll find in her latest books. When her thoughts aren't roaming in that direction, she'll be riding wild horses, skiing the slopes of Aspen or scuba diving with a hot rock star, all without leaving the cozy comfort of her office.

Great review hun! I've only read Until I Break from Michelle, but I'm sure this series is fantastic, sexy, and entertaining. I'm going to have to give her other books a try. I did a blitz on this book as well and the excerpts I was sent were so good I didn't know which one to choose, so I just went along with the one when they first met. The other one was of him being rejected by Violet, but I didn't know what he was sorry for so I couldn't put that one up.
I hope you have a great week hun :)
