Nomi’s Weekly Wrap Up #91

Nomi’s Weekly Wrap Up is a combined meme with the Sunday Post hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer, Bought, Borrowed and Bagged hosted by Braine @ Talk Supe and Stacking The Shelves hosted by Tynga’s Reviews. I’ll share news, post a recap of the past week and tell you what will be happening on my blog in the week ahead. I will also tell you about the books and goodies that I have managed to pick up.
Things are pretty much the same again this week. I have been busy with work, my proofreading course and reading/blogging. The family is all well too. I played my first full game of Netball last week and it was great to have that full run, even though I was shooting the whole game… Argh, the pressure! Anyway, we are heading into a long weekend here in Australia, looking forward to the relax time!

  25. It's a non-contact sport. like basketball, with no backboard. I am surprised that it has taken 16 commenters to ask me!! lol I know it's not played in the US, but it is in many other countries!

  30. Ooh, I hope you enjoy your long weekend, Naomi. I enjoyed a long weekend myself (last weekend) and my husband and I took a little trip. :) I'm excited over our haul - Mean Girl Apologies looks interesting and I've always wanted to read Jus Accardo. Hope your week is going well!!

  31. That is fine! It is a fast paced game and I love it!

  34. Hmmm so I'm curious what exactly is netball? Is it what we call Basketball or maybe volleyball in the US? You know I have to keep learning my Aussie lingo :)

I hope you enjoyed your long weekend too - I need one of those!

  35. It's a non-contact sport. like basketball, with no backboard. There is only certain areas on the court that players can go to, and only 2 people on each team can shoot the goals. No bouncing the ball, must pass in 3 seconds. 7 players on the court per team. it's quite fast paced. I enjoy it! It's played in many countries across the world.

You'll catch up with the lingo, I promise!!
