Book Description

Isa has begun to dream of the most amazing woman—a woman named Lilith with a gorgeous face, an amazing body, and the ability to turn Isa on like no other. But Lilith is just a dream...isn’t she?

Lilith is indeed real. She is a sexual Dreammaker, a being who exists solely to bring pleasure to humans while they sleep. And soon, Lilith finds she is falling for Isa, falling hard, something a Dreammaker is never supposed to do. Is there any way they can truly be together, or will their relationship have to remain as it is…. just a dream?

My Review

This is the first F/F book that I have read and I was a bit hesitant at first about reading it, but my husband actually suggested that I should give it a try anyway. I must say I did enjoy it. I was expecting it to be just about sex as Lilith is a Dreammaker, but it turned out to be more than just sex. It was also about the developing relationship between the two characters and how they adjust to be only being together in the dream phase.

Isa’s life took a massive turn near the start of the book and now she is exploring her options, one of which is her new attraction to women.  As her pleasant dreams are becoming highly erotic her nightmares are getting worse. Now that her path in life has changed, I thought Isa has more courage and I liked her more like this. She is willing to step out of her comfort zone and taking a carefree approach to life.

Lilith knows the rules of being a Dreammaker, but can’t fight her attraction to the human that she visits in her dreams. Isa is everything she wants in a partner and cannot help but fall for her. Lilith is a strong character that likes to be in control. Her powers are growing significantly Lilith doesn’t realise it as yet.

There is also another storyline woven into the plot where nightmares are affecting people outside of their dreams and causing havoc. I think adding this aspect gave greater depth to the book and it also helped the characters come to terms with their feelings for one another.

It was a fabulous journey about love and I thought Maggie did a great job of sharing Isa and Lilith’s story. It is packed full of steamy F/F sex, probably a little too much for my taste, but it was still a fabulous story!

I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
