Nadia Conrad has big dreams, and she's determined to make them come true—for her parents' sake as well as her own. Daniel Tyler has grown up too fast. Becoming a single dad at twenty turned his life upside down—and brought him heartache he can't risk again. Now, as he raises his four-year-old son while balancing a full-time construction management job and night classes, a social life is out of the question. The last thing he wants is for four noisy students to move into the apartment upstairs. But one night, Nadia's and Ty's paths cross, and soon they can't stay away from each other.
The timing is all wrong—but love happens when it happens. And you can't know what you truly need until you stand to lose it.

I Want It That Way is told from Nadia's POV, as she moves to a new apartment with her best friend Lauren and their friends Max and Angus. When moving the couch, she meets Ty, the handsome guy who lives in the apartment below hers. The more times she sees him, and the more she learns about him, the more she falls for him. Ty is an incredible guy, focused on his life and his future, he is really sweet.
Nadia is such a nice girl. She thinks the best of everyone and goes out of her way to help the people she cares about. She really is a great girl and any nice guy would be lucky to snap her up.
Ty, he has his little secrets, but they don't bother Nadia at all. She easily handles Ty's situation and he just falls for her that little bit more. You can see how compatible they are, and you just want them to take things to that whole new level. But there are always niggling doubts that get in the way.
I really did enjoy this read, meeting all the characters, room mates, family and friends. It was nice to follow Nadia, getting to know Ty and how she goes about her life. The only thing was, that her life was pretty normal and there were no real jaw dropping revelations thrown in. It was a nice sweet read and I was happy how things turned out in the end. I am looking forward to reading Lauren's story next.
