I have been meaning to read this series for what feels like forever! I finally decided to get it from the library and I am so glad that I did! It has been a long time since I have picked up a new paranormal series and I loved how quickly I was swept away in another of Jennifer’s worlds.

I have had a relatively quiet wee this week. I have relaxed a bit at home and even hit the shops to get out for a bit… no particular reason, just because!! We lost our netball game last week, so it’s do or die this week! I know we can do it!

I have been quiet on the haul front too, didn’t shop for any books online, the ones I did receive I requested weeks ago, but I look forward to tackling them! I’m up to date on blogging and reviewing, so I plan on picking up Fool’s Assassin by Robin Hobb next week because it will be a long book!

The Prince’s Ex was a quick read which I enjoyed. The main character Amelia is kind of on the rebound after her failed relationship with a prince. She begins dating again and makes new friends and soon has changed the path of her life.

I just loved this book! It was a little dirty, had a whole lot of sexual (frustration) tension and amusing banter between characters who clearly don't like one another. It was everything I love in a hot romance with plenty of steamy scenes thrown into an entertaining plot. What more could I ask for?
