Heather McCallister wants one thing: A rich husband.

When she catches her trust fund wielding boyfriend with his pants around his ankles she finds herself fighting over a taxi with a stranger she meets on the streets of Chicago.

Ryan Pierson is handsome, fun and doesn’t have a penny to his name. The two embark on a wild night of passion that has Heather questioning what it is she wants out of life.

But nothing is as perfect as it seems. A secret affair, a proposal and a surprise revelation have Heather facing the greatest dilemma . . .

and it’s downright Sinful.

In my very first Jeannine read, Pure Abandon, I met Heather, an irritable and feisty person that got on a lot of peoples nerves. I wasn't sure that I would like her, so I'm glad that Jeannine has given us Heathers own story so we could understand her better.

Heather actually had a difficult upbringing, but had somehow created her own path in life. She was determined to never feel so worthless or poor again, so she had become a successful woman, looking for a wealthy man to live the rest of her life with. She sounds a little self centred, but after she met Ryan, he was able to get her to open up and I could see that there was more to Heather than her bitchy persona.

Hotty Ryan was a yummy addition in this story! He was a little abrupt to begin with, but I could see he was a true gentleman! He knew what he wanted and didn't hold back when he told Heather his feelings. I enjoyed some sweet moments of these two together, and that he opened Heathers eyes in regards to family.

Overall, Sinful Abandon was a fun quick read. I liked that there was a bit of an age difference between the characters, and an older girl landed the younger guy. My only complaint... the story was too short! I want more of Heather and Ryan!

*Sigh* This moment made my heart ache! I just LOVED Ryan and how open he was!

“I have eyes. He doesn’t look at you like you’re the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen. He doesn’t smile at the sound of your voice or wonder how in the world he landed a girl so damn smart and sassy and sexy. He doesn’t look at you like he wants to spend forever with you.”
I swallow. The deepness of his voice and the power of his words make the blood in my body run so hot that I might burn from the inside out.
“What does that look like?” I’m not sure my heart has ever pounded this hard in my life.
“Like the way I’m looking at you right now.”
