He’s back.

Not just back in town, but living in the flat right beneath mine. And he looks good enough to eat, which is just one more reason to stay away from him.

But I can’t resist.

The sex is incredible (pretty sure we’ve shaken the house right off its foundation), but he can’t fool me—not this time. A degree in marketing and five years in advertising have taught me that “true love” is a fairy tale used to sell lipstick, diamonds, and perfume. It doesn’t exist.

He thinks I’m wrong, and he wants to prove it.

I think he’s crazy, so I dare him to try.

It might be the biggest mistake of my life.

What a scorching couple Jaime and Quinn turned out to be! These two were so hot and perfect I just couldn't put the book down! Right from the opening chapter I knew it was going to be an amusing ride because of the situation that Jaime found herself in, and I wasn't disappointed! It was the perfect, light hearted read featuring characters that were insanely attracted to one another, that I couldn't get enough of!

There was a little bit of history between Jaime and Quinn; Quinn was Jaime's older brother's best friend. Jaime had a crush on Quinn when she was younger and when she found the courage to make a move, he shot her down spectacularly! When her first crush moved into the apartment downstairs, I knew it would be an epic journey of Jaime trying to fight her feelings and the attraction that they both obviously shared!

I just loved reading about Quinn, how down to earth he was and I could see how much he cared for his mother. He was just the nicest guy and tried hard to win Jaime over. I could understand Jaime's hurt and confusion when it came to men, when a lot of her childhood experiences shaped her into the person she was today. Even the relationship between her parents wasn't based on love, so it was no wonder she didn't believe in it. I thought it was sweet the way Quinn tried to woo her with romantic gestures and invaded her personal space!

Man Candy was a great read to listen to. Lee Samuels and Brooke Bloomingdale were narrator's that I hadn't listened to before, and I felt they delivered the character's voices perfectly. Actually listening to the story made me feel the connection between the characters, their desires and their hesitations. Melanie Harlow created a perfect lighter read, that had plenty of sizzling scenes to make any girl squirm. But overall, it was the genuine relationship development and the characters that I loved. There were a couple of secondary characters that I'd like to meet again, so fingers crossed that they get their own books too!

*** Swoon Thursday was first bought to us by YA Bound. Since they are no longer with us, and with permission from Trisha Wolfe, I have decided that those of us that love to swoon need a central meet up point.  So here it is ladies! I have a link up for everyone at the bottom of the post you can add your swoons to, and I’ll set it up every week! So tell all other swooners out there to come on over, link up so we can visit each other! ***

Here are two really yummy swoons! This book had a lot of swoon-worthy moments!

He grabbed me and threw me onto the bed, pinning my wrists over my head. His hips anchored mine, his erection trapped between us. “I can’t think if you touch me like that.”
I wrapped my legs around him, my heart pounding. “Thinking is overrated. What do you say we just feel our way through this?”
He crushed his lips to mine.
Finally. Fucking finally.

His kiss had me riled up fast, and I tugged at his jeans. “Wait,” he said. “I’ll be right back.”
A minute later, he came back with his pants undone, condom already on, and peeled my pants and underwear off in one smooth motion. Fuck yes. I love a man who doesn’t belabor the point. When there’s a matter to be settled, let’s settle it.
