Feature and Follow #38

Feature & Follow is a blog hop hosted by Parajunkee & Alison Can Read. The purpose is to meet new people and gain more followers in the book blogging community. If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers — but you have to know — the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.

Here’s this week’s question:

Have you broken up with a series? If so which one and why

I haven't actually broken up with a series, but I have read the first 9 books of The House of Night series by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast and it has been doing my head in! Of course I will continue to read all the books to see if things will improve and I will want to know how it will all end, eventually. The authors are alternating between so many POV's that it is getting a little messy.

What do you think?

What's your FF?

Just came from a blog who chose this series. Although they did give it up. I read book 1, didn't get into it and quit then myself!

    Here's my Follow Friday

  2. You sound like me. You don't want to give up on a series even if it's waning. Thankfully, I haven't come across too many of them. I find series ususally get better.

    Happy Long Weekend! :D

  5. I love the series, but the length is becoming an issue with a lot of readers. We just want to know the ending already! :)

  7. I haven't heard of that series. But I don't think I'd want to read a series that long.

  8. HoN is not on my 'must-read-straight-away' list anymore, but like you, I think I'll continue to read it. I also want to know if the villain will be done in for in the end, and I also want to see how it does end.

Thanks for stopping by my FF post earlier.

  10. Awe, I really like the House of Night. :) I did how ever stop reading the Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter Series. I think I made it to about book 6 and just couldn't do it anymore. Too bizarre.

  14. I haven't felt that determination about finishing a series that isn't working for me. I have slogged through books that I didn't like, because I kept hoping they would finally get good at the end. They never did, though.

Thanks for hopping by my F&F!

  19. It started well, hopefully it will improve toward the end!
