Review ~ Three, Two, One by J.A. Huss

Title: Three, Two, One (321)
Author: J.A. Huss
Genre: Erotic Romantic Suspense
Published: January 27th 2015

ONE GIRL

Battered, barefoot, and huddled under a bookstore awning in the pouring rain, Blue only knows one thing. After fifteen months of captivity, finally… she is free.

TWO FRIENDS

Self-made millionaires JD and Ark are not out to save anyone when they stumble upon a wet and shivering girl one early Sunday morning. But when you sell sex for a living and salvation rings your bell… you answer the call.

THREE SOULMATES

After years of searching, love lifts the veil of darkness, and three people—with three very big secrets—find themselves bound together in a relationship that defies the odds.

Or does it?

Love. Lust. Sex.

This trinity might be perfection… but not everything should come in 3’s.

Honestly, this book blew me away! It was more than just three people getting together and having hot sex… It was a journey about three lost souls who are bought together because of dangerous circumstances, and they happen to fall in love. It was a passionate and sizzling life changing journey for all of them.

Ark… I loved him right from the beginning! He is a planner, and likes to be in control. He had a lot of secrets and I really didn’t know where they were headed. He enjoys his life and is working hard to get his legitimate porn site off the ground. His ideas have made them very rich and his talent is amazing!!

Blue was a troubled person. She went out of her way to do something good and ended up in deep trouble. She found comfort with Ark and J.D. and was able to relax and allow them to help her recover from her ordeal. I liked seeing her grow throughout the story, sharing her history and becoming stronger towards the end.

J.D. was kind of mysterious. Through Ark and Blue I learned about his past (as his POV is not in the story) and each detail broke my heart. He looks all put together and sure of himself, but his secrets always drew him back. His laid back attitude made me smile and he puts his emotions out there when it comes to Ark and Blue.

J.A. Huss always keeps you guessing, and I truly didn’t know the extent of the trouble these characters were in. Things between them seemed to be ok, but their pasts were always there, ready to crumble their worlds. When things got crazy, my heart broke and I cried… And I hoped that some things could be repaired… then I cried again. It really was a beautiful, sizzling read and I loved reading every word! Thank you Julie for writing such an incredible book, you freakin’ amaze me each and every time!!

  1. Awesome review, Naomi!! I'm so glad you loved it - but then, it's Huss so I knew you would. ;) Isn't it interesting to use words like dark, sizzling, and beautiful all in the same review? This was a dark story and yet it was beautiiful, too. I'll stop waxing on now. :) Happy Tuesday, girl!!

  4. I think that I might just burst into tears if J.A. Huss releases one more book before I have time to start one of her series. Granted, that's my fault for procrastinating, not the author's, but GAWD! Give me a chance to catch-up. I'm one-clicking this b*tch!

  17. Pffft... Any great emotional story will do it to you, whether it be a movie or a book. I cried in the end of SoA... It was hard core, but I was attached to characters!

  19. It sounds good, but I am on the fence about a 3 some book. I may be a bit old fashioned for this one, to be honest. I am glad you loved it though.
