One-night stands are supposed to be with someone convenient, or wickedly persuasive, or regrettable. They aren’t supposed to be with someone like him.
But after a crazy Vegas weekend celebrating her college graduation—and terrified of the future path she knows is a cop-out—Mia Holland makes the wildest decision of her life: follow Ansel Guillaume—her sweet, filthy fling—to France for the summer and just…play.
When feelings begin to develop behind the provocative roles they take on, and their temporary masquerade adventures begin to feel real, Mia will have to decide if she belongs in the life she left because it was all wrong, or in the strange new one that seems worlds away.

It has been a little while since I have read a Christina Lauren book, and since my friend let me borrow her copy, I thought I better get onto it! Sweet Filthy Boy was actually a bit of a sweet read, which I was not expecting at all, filled with plenty of steamy sex scenes with a fantastic story line.
Mia is a quiet kind of girl, who wants to please her father. She has just finished college, but will be venturing off to business school, even though her true passion died when she was in an accident a few years back. Wanting to break free for a while, she heads to Vegas with her two closest friends and meets Ansel. After one fun weekend with him their lives are changed forever, and Mia makes a snap decision to go to France for the summer.
I enjoyed seeing these two together; after all they have been through things are a little tricky for them, but there is no denying the attraction they have for one another. Mia introduces some spice to the bedroom, and it was fun to see her relax and open up that way. The more time these two spent together, the easier their relationship became. I could see that Ansel was holding something back, and even though I kind of guessed it, it didn’t take anything away from the story.
Christina Lauren are a fabulous writing duo and each time I pick up one of their novels I am quickly swept away in their spicy worlds. Sweet Filthy Boy was one of those fairytale stories where a girl meets a sexy French boy and they fall head over heels for one another. There are plenty of humorous moments in this story, and awkward moments, but I read most of this book with a smile on my face. I’m keen to get my hands on the next book, because Harlow and Finn’s story is going to be even more drama packed, I am sure!
