Nomi’s Weekly Wrap Up is a combined meme with the Sunday Post hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer, Bought, Borrowed and Bagged hosted by Braine @ Talk Supe and Stacking The Shelves hosted by Tynga’s Reviews. I’ll share news, post a recap of the past week and tell you what will be happening on my blog in the week ahead. I will also tell you about the books and goodies that I have managed to pick up.
This week, I went and did my boat license course… and passed. I also went to see 50 Shades of Grey at the cinemas with a few friends. If you have read the book, you may enjoy it as it follows a lot of detail from it.
The blog is functioning just fine… Things are going as normal. I have been doing a few things for Trisha Wolfe this week, getting ready for the release of her latest book, Fading Out.
That’s about it, no real news!!

lovely haul :) hope you enjoy your new books :)
ReplyDeleteNice haul, Naomi. I'm so behind on the Chicagoland series it's not even funny! But I have trouble getting back into everything with that one, ever since the thing happened...
ReplyDeleteCongrats on getting your boat licence, I'm sure that means you'll have a lot of fun on the water in the near future :)
Have a fantastic week and happy reading.
Congrats on getting your boat license. That sounds so cool. Hope you enjoy the upcoming summer. :-)

Fifty and a boat license?!? Sounds like a pretty exciting week to me! :) I saw Fifty yesterday and quite enjoyed it myself. I think they did a good job in casting as well as with following the story. It made me want to re-read though. *ha* No time for that! I hope you had a wonderful weekend, Naomi!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read Dark Debt!! Your other books look good too :) Have a lovely week!

Interesting you say the movie follows the book closely, because I thought the book was on the boring side. And every clip I see of the movie seems so slow. The hardware store clip drives me crazy with how slow it is. Hell yeah for the bat license.
ReplyDeleteNice books this week. It sounds like a lot of us have had a calm, quiet week. Feels good for a change:)
ReplyDeleteWhat did you think of Fifty Shades?

A quiet week indeed, those are good to have. :) Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I hope so too!!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I am excited to read them!
ReplyDeleteI am sure i will! *wink*
ReplyDeleteHehe! Thanks Lexie! I hope we get out soon, summer will be over before we know it!
ReplyDeleteI still like the Chicagoland series, it is so fun!
It is summer already in Aus... We just need to get out there!!
ReplyDeleteI always hope for Amazon money... hope you get some too!
ReplyDeleteAnd Dark Debt... I cannot wait!!
Yep, no time for rereading. It was an ok movie, there were a few things that irritated me, but hopefully things will improve in the next one!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait either! It will be great, I know it!
ReplyDeleteIf you didn't like the book, you won't like the movie! The hardware bit was one of the bits I didn't like, so stalkerish, I thought he wasn't very smooth.
ReplyDeleteFifty shades was ok, I liked the book and thought it followed it well enough, it just wasn't real exciting, I was hoping to come out of it and love it, but I was more , eh, it was ok.
ReplyDeleteThey are!! Thanks Bea!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a nice peaceful week! I did as well :) Also looks like you had a nice book haul!
ReplyDeleteHappy reading, girl!
Yay for the boating license! That's pretty neat!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the license - I'm both intimidated and exhilarated for ya :D Also, Can't wait for your Three, Two, One review - I've heard such wonderful things...
ReplyDeleteA boat licence - Wow! That's awesome. Good job, girl.
ReplyDeleteI'm assuming you enjoyed 50 Shades. I still haven't read the book but I definitely want to see the movie.
Nice haul of books. I'm sure you will love Dark Debt.
Congrats on your license, must be exciting ! :) I have yet to see 50 shades, I wasn't a fan of the series but I'm curious to see the movie :D Great post!

ReplyDeleteHehe... The hubby has asked me to get it for so long... done now!!
ReplyDeleteI really liked 321, it was such a fantastic read!!
ReplyDeleteIf you have read the book, you will like it. If not, maybe not so much.
ReplyDeleteThanks Marilyn!!
You may not like the movie then, I think. Good luck though!!
ReplyDeleteYay! I am glad you got it... must have gone the long way!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of these books but they sound great :)

I am SO excited for Dark Debt! I can't wait to get it! I'm on a book budget getting ready for some cons, so I didn't pick up much. I snuck one 99 center in there though! My birthday is this week and I am hoping for lots of Amazon gift cards to enlarge my book budget!
