James, Harper, and Sasha are products of their environment. Born into a secret organization that runs a global shadow government, and taught to kill since they were small, they find themselves both indispensable and expendable to all the people they used to trust.
Twenty-eight year old James Fenici has been an assassin since he was sixteen. He’s amassed debts and favors from countless Company brothers and participated in hundreds of Company jobs. But there are not enough favors in the world to clear his debt and make him worthy of the only girl he’s ever wanted.
Eighteen year old Harper Tate is the girl who doesn’t exist. Born and raised on a megayacht in a tropical paradise, she was destined to be a secret until now. No history, no records, and manipulated into having no opinions or ambition of her own, Harper is suddenly presented with more choices than she can handle.
Thirteen year old Sasha Cherlin is the girl who knows everything and understands nothing at all. Her future is filled with vengeance and death, but her dreams are filled with hope and a promise. A promise who no longer wants her.
The game is on, the pieces are in place, and the players have everything to lose. But who can you trust when everyone’s a traitor?

What an action packed conclusion to the Come series! I was on the edge of my seat from the beginning, I tell ya! It was everything… the intensity of what was going on with characters, the danger they were all in and whether or not they would all make it out alive! It was a compelling, manipulative and sizzling read.
Coming for You follows the POV’s of James, Harper and Sasha, all of which are important players in this game with the Company. What they all do will have a major impact on the end game. It was quite a clever ride, seeing each character put their plans in motion because they are often separated.
I was able to see more to James in this book and I liked getting to know him better. He is a little twisted, but he has been through so much. He knows what he wants and will do anything in his power to get what he wants: murder and manipulation is what he is good at. What Harper had to deal with really made it hard for her to focus… the extra person in the game really threw a spanner in the works. And Sasha… all her connections from her father came into play, it was clever and some of the twists I didn’t see coming!!
J.A. Huss is an astounding writer, and if you have not read any of her books, I encourage you to pick up a series and read it until that final page. You may think you know where the story is headed, but she will throw in a twist to keep you guessing! Some characters from the Rook and Ronin series made a small appearance in Coming For You, which I loved! And those epilogue’s leave you wanting more! So as you can tell, I am a huge fan and will pick up anything J.A. Huss writes in the future!!

I do love authors who throws in twists and mind fucks their readers. I should try her, I do have a few of her books.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I'm not usually a huge fan of the cover models on books. I'm just picky. But this guy is so yum. Anyway ... the book sounds good too! lol.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a series worth giving a go. Thanks for the review Naomi!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, Naomi! I loved the different POVs in Coming for You, and you know I didn't really like James in the first book, but I loved him in this one!
ReplyDeleteGreat review, girl! Maybe I need to read a Huss book to get me out of this tiny slump I'm in because I just DNF'ed a book I had been looking forward to reading :)
Happy Friday, Naomi!
I have book #1, love your review and the blurb looks great, can't wait to read it !
ReplyDeleteSounds like another series I must get into! AH!
ReplyDeleteLovely review!
Hell yeah! I loved this series - but then, you know that. The 3 POVs was awesome. I loved getting in Sasha's head. One of the things I love best about Huss is that you think you know in what direction she's taking you...but you're ALWAYS wrong! (at least I have been) And that epilogue. Good stuff!
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of this series before. I love how the author keeps you on your toes, makes for a very exciting read!
ReplyDeleteLove when a series ends well.

ReplyDeleteIt certainly is! I hope you do Sharon!
ReplyDeleteAwww... That sucks to DNF, especially one you were keen on.
ReplyDeleteThis was a great way to finish of the series, and I'm glad you grew to like James! I like those alpha male types!
Hehe!! I hope you do soon!! *wink*
