Oh Spencer!! I really do love you, but seriously… can’t you just talk to Veronica? I know you have her best interests at heart, but I am sure she would understand if you just sit down and have a heart-to-heart with her. These are difficult times for you but you should get all your concerns out there, so she understands you!
It may seem like she is trying to move on without you, but you can still see that you have her heart. I know that you are doing this to protect her and you hope to win her back some day, but I’m sure it will be easier if she understood the facts!
I know that you are not going to do that though, and will do things the way you see them in your head. I understand the pressure you are under and you are just trying to look out for Ronnie and to keep her safe. You are a sneaky bugger, too… keeping her close like that! This is a little gap book that prepares you for the final instalment of the Rook and Ronin series and the spinoff. We see the depth to Spencer and Ronnie’s relationship and even those first times that they met. It was a great insight to the only couple that have had a longer relationship and I am excited to see it wrapped up in GUNS! I will review it next week… I will be sad to see the end of this fun series!
