The first night after Caroline moves into her fantastic new San Francisco apartment, she realizes she's gaining an intimate knowledge of her new neighbor's nocturnal adventures. Thanks to paper-thin walls and the guy's athletic prowess, she can hear not just his bed banging against the wall but the ecstatic response of what seems (as loud night after loud night goes by) like an endless parade of women. And since Caroline is currently on a self-imposed dating hiatus, and her neighbor is clearly lethally attractive to women, she finds her fantasies keep her awake even longer than the noise. So when the wallbanging threatens to literally bounce her out of bed, Caroline, clad in sexual frustration and a pink baby-doll nightie, confronts Simon Parker, her heard-but-never-seen neighbor. The tension between them is as thick as the walls are thin, and the results just as mixed. Suddenly, Caroline is finding she may have discovered a whole new definition of neighborly...
In a delicious mix of silly and steamy, Alice Clayton dishes out a hot and hilarious tale of exasperation at first sight...

What a fun read! I read a few reviews about this book and reading one
from one of my blogger friends (Christy @ Christy's Love of Books) pushed me
to getting it! And I tell you, I was not let down! It was an amusing and
sizzling tale of a girl who lost her O, who is frustrated by the ‘Wallbanger’
and his harem next door!!
Caroline has moved into a new apartment and during her first night she
is woken by the bedroom antics of the guy she quickly names ‘Wallbanger.’ It
all becomes too much one night and she bangs on the door to confront him about
the noise levels, in a little pink nightie!!
Caroline was such a fun and witty girl!! She cracked me up with her
inner dialogue; working through all her decisions in her head, giving nicknames
to everything and even explaining what her cat was up to. The how’s and why’s
she has lost her O was just hilarious and I was cheering for Simon to be the
guy to find it for her. Simon was the right choice for Caroline, but he finds
it hard to express himself. His ‘harem’ was convenient for him and he is not
sure what is happening between himself and ‘nightie girl.’
Wallbanger was just hilarious
and I giggled my way through it all. They build a strong relationship as
friends first, which was sweet to see play out. They have a lot of common interests
and Simon is definitely drawn to Caroline’s baked goodies. The tension between
these two is off the charts and I just knew they would manage to get together at
some stage… and that journey definitely had its ups and downs!!
I enjoyed Alice’s writing style and how she tied this story together.
She built great characters that I liked; even the secondary characters added
great depth to the story. The slow build of the romance was believable as they
didn’t dive straight into it. I loved how Simon took his time with Caroline too
and even wooed her in the end, but by gosh he was worth it!! I hope you have a
chance to pick this one up, you won’t be disappointed!!
Okay that's it, I've heard too many people say how hilarious and sexy this book is that I am just going to have read!! I really want to know what all the fuss is about over this noisy neighbor and his late night activities ;)
