Remington Tate!! Just writing the name has me all hot and bothered! He is the alpha male of all males! Women everywhere want him and when he steps into the fighters ring he is a man mountain of perfection. He is unstoppable and always wins! Brooke has overcome a lot to be where she is today. Her dreams were torn from her when she had a career ending injury. But she still managed to get back on her feet and start all over. She is not one to back down and get all alpha girlish as well, and it was so awesome!
The chemistry between Brooke and Remington is electrifying! From the very first fight that she goes to and locks her eyes with his, is just scorching. And the way he wins for her, swoon! But like everything, he has his secrets and his past is something that he wants to take his time to reveal to her. And by the time I knew everything I was in love with him just like Brooke! He may be hot tempered but once you are past those walls you can see the fragile man underneath.
By the time I was half way through the book I was frustrated and a bit wound up like Brooke. Remington is trying his damnedest to be worthy of her and once we understands his reasons I loved him even more. Around her, he is like a gentle giant and treats Brooke like she is fragile, he is so sweet!!
The pace of the book was fantastic and the story was well written. 98% of the book is from Brooke’s POV and seeing Remy through her eyes was amazing. Getting to know him with her was fantastic, and before long he had a hold of her heart! The emotion that both of these characters have is beautiful and I love them both! The sex scenes are sizzling and the way Remy uses music to express himself was so sweet! I floated away with the story and found it so hard to put down. I’m excited to get more of Remy… Hopefully soon!!
