Book Boyfriend of the Week is a NEW weekly meme hosted by Reading and Things. Each week I will tease you about my current Book Boyfriend, to entice you to go out and meet him for yourself!
For my very first post I would like to introduce you to ~
David is a well known guitarist from the Band Stage Dive. In Lick we get to see him on a personal level and is actually really kind and sweet, once you are able to get past the walls he has up. He is a funny guy too, but once he has a girl in his sights you will be willing to give up your panties!! *Fans self*
Here’s a little passage from the book, which I found so sweet!!
“Guess what?” he asked.“What?” Gently he pushed my hair back off my face. Then he licked my ear. I squirmed, ticklish.“I wrote two songs,” he said, his voice a little slurred, soft around the edges.“Mmm.” I smiled without opening my eyes. Hopefully he’d take that as being supportive. I couldn’t manage much more on less than four hours’ sleep. I simply wasn’t wired that way. “That’s nice.”“No, you don’t understand. I haven’t written anything in over two years. This is fu*king amazing.” He nuzzled my neck. “And they’re about you.”
I want my own Rockstar to write songs for me!! *Swoon*
My review for Lick will be on the blog on Thursday 8th August, and I will share a swoon from it too.

Waking up in Vegas was never meant to be like this.
Evelyn Thomas’s plans for celebrating her twenty-first birthday in Las Vegas were big. Huge. But she sure as hell never meant to wake up on the bathroom floor with a hangover to rival the black plague, a very attractive half-naked tattooed man, and a diamond on her finger large enough to scare King Kong. Now if she could just remember how it all happened.
One thing is for certain, being married to rock and roll’s favourite son is sure to be a wild ride.
Rules for the meme:
1) Pick a book boyfriend, it can be from the book your currently reading or from one you've already read.
2) Write what kind of boyfriend he is, and if you want, say why you think that
3) Pick a quote from his book, it could be long or short, that proves he is the kind of boyfriend you said he is
4) Make sure the quote, and the explanation, DO NOT give away anything from the book (we want all of the twists and plot surprises to remain surprises)
5) Share it! And shout it out it using #Reading and Things
Do you have a book boyfriend at the moment? Please leave a comment below with your link so I can check out yours too!!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great Weekend!!
