In Vegas, a lot can happen in twenty-four hours.
What do you get when you mix a rock band as hot as Reckless Beat, women strong enough to capture several of the bad boys’ hearts, and a bet that sparks a competitive streak?
Boundaries will be pushed, alcohol will be abused, and loads of sarcasm will be shared.
Once the games are over, it’s time to make a commitment. But love in the limelight is never easy. The past is trying to catch up with the present, and the pressure may be too hard to handle.
Seduction, torment, laughter, and heartbreak—one reckless weekend will test each member of the band and the women who’ve claimed their love.
What an exhilarating read!! Right from the beginning I was thrust into a steamy situation before heading out for a humorous night on the town with the boys and girls going their separate ways. In the previous books we followed Mitch and Alana, as well as Blake and Gabi, but in this quick read we also get perspectives from the other band members and Leah too. I liked getting to know everyone else a bit more, seeing their dirty minds at work and how far each of them will go for each other.
Even though the guys and gals have gone out separately, it was a freakin’ funny night. I was actually reading whilst on the treadmill and nearly tripped a few times because I was laughing so hard! There are some tasks that have been set, that need to be completed for each group and they had me in stitches!! And Leah… hawt damn girl! Give her some liquid courage and she dives off the deep end! I love her!
There was a time in the book that my heart broke and I was so happy that they all came together as a family and helped each other in this time of need. The guys are brothers because of their band and treat each other as such. They back each other with everything they do and I was happy to see something good come out of a distressing situation. The ending was beautiful, the epilogue has me curious and I’m excited to see what is going to happen now.
I received a copy of this book from the Author in exchange for an honest review.
Eden Summers is a true blue Aussie, living in regional New South Wales with her two energetic young boys and a quick witted husband.
In late 2010, Eden's romance obsession could no longer be sated by reading alone, so she decided to give voice to the sexy men and sassy women in her mind.
Eden can't resist alpha dominance, dark features and sarcasm in her fictional heroes and loves a strong heroine who knows when to bite her tongue but also serves retribution with a feminine smile on her face.

No, I have not read any of this series. I am not a fan of the erotic, but I do occasionally indulge. After reading your review, this sounds like it may be one of them. ^_^

ReplyDeleteOh I love it! The image of you tripping on the treadmill made me LOL because I've been known to do the same thing while reading (it's why I stick to audio books when working out now, actually). Well this needs to go on the TBR!
ReplyDeleteOh my, Naomi! I must catch up in this series like NOW! You know I fell in love with Blake in BA, and I can't wait to read PA. But I love the thought of getting to know all the other characters better. And if you're laughing so much you almost injure yourself on the treadmill, well...I'll make sure not to read it while I'm on mine! ;) Great review!!
