Review ~ Sweet Dreams by Benjamin Daniels

Sweet Dreams has been re-released on Amazon and today I thought I would share my review with you. I hope you have the chance to get it.

Sweet Dreams is a spinoff from the Seventh Seals series and runs in conjunction to Hell's Gate, the first book in the series and there is a small crossover from it in this book. Sweet Dreams has some of the characters that have appeared in the Seventh Seals series, however in Sweet Dreams, we meet some new and important characters that haven't appeared in the other series… Yet ;) . Both of the books are from completely different genres but the change was refreshing, as unlike Cole in the Seventh Seals series, the characters in Sweet Dreams actually get some raunchy lovin’!!

Sweet Dreams is told from a female POV, Jahi, who was born and raised in hell. She wanted to escape the fiery pits and the only way out was to work for Lilith as a seductress; fulfilling her clients’ ultimate sexual fantasies in person as well as in their dreams. She can connect with her client through the mind and transform into anyone the client wishes to have the sexual fantasy with. That is why the clients pay top dollar and make contracts with Lilith to be with Jahi. She also has her own desires, but it feels as though she cannot have them. However, in the underworld, you can never trust a Demon and Jahi needs to keep her wits about her. Jahi is very focused in her job and the pleasure of her clients (and herself) is her priority. Not everything runs to plan however and she is forced into some uncomfortable situations.

Sweet Dreams is a shorter book than the books in the Seventh Seal Series but it was nonstop entertainment from cover to cover. The author, although male, is able to write very descriptive scenes in a woman's POV and I was pleasantly surprised as to how well he was able to channel his inner woman. The sex scenes are very steamy and in some cases definite panty wetters!

I thought that this was going to be a straight forward erotica book, but I should’ve known better than to expect that from Benjamin Daniels. The storyline was captivating and I was sucked into this world as I always am with Ben's work. Some of my questions from the Seventh Seals series were answered in this book and I was excited to see another side to the dark world that Lilith controls. The Epilogue is a killer though and I can't believe it ended like that! I was a little frustrated and I want to go pound some people!! I am truly hoping that I get to see more of this series, sooner rather than later.
