Justice. Faith. Power.

The words I live my life by, the three keys to my success, the foundation I built my entire empire on and now Goldie holds them all in the palm of her hands.

She once was a Jett Girl, a piece of me, a safety net I grew to depend on.
She once was mine…heart, body and soul.

But now she’s gone.

I fell for a girl I should have left alone. I let her consume my life, control my feelings and own every aspect of my being. I tried to keep her, to make her see what she was doing to me, to clue her in that breathing was impossible without her around.

But she ran, she gave up and she returned the one thing that claimed her as mine, she gave me back her collar.

This is the story of a desperate man who lost everything that ever mattered to him… my little one.

I have been excited to read Forever a Jett Girl, the final book in the Bourbon series after the slight cliff hanger in the previous book. I wanted to see if Goldie was able to help Jett in his pursue of Lot 17 and to see them back together again. It was a difficult journey for both of them as they doubt their feelings and lack trust in one another.

Jett was a bit lost after Goldie’s quick departure, he has the need to control everything and realised that he cannot always do that with Goldie. He was quick to put those walls back up and became the hard person he once was. I was sad to see that he didn’t have faith in Goldie, and wanted to put her into his past as quick as possible… Thank goodness for Kace and the other Jett girls, who help him focus and put him back on track.

Goldie wants to save Jett for a change and believes what she is doing is the only way to do so. She is putting herself into a difficult situation, but is gathering the Intel she needs to help Jett. She is still as crude as ever, saying exactly what is on her mind and often made me laugh. I loved the fight she had in her, and how she didn’t let Jett push her away. They had a few difficult times, but there were heaps of good moments between them as well.

I liked seeing all the Jett girls again and how they rally together in times of need. Kace was still his brooding self, and I am keen to get his full story and to see whether his potential love interest will be able to get into his heart. From what I can see, there are going to be plenty of spinoffs… and I cannot wait!

There were lots of twists thrown into Forever a Jett Girl and most of which I never saw coming. Some were good, others were interesting, but one in particular was jaw dropping. I had no idea as to the direction of this final book, and I felt at some stages that both characters were overreacting to certain events. I could still see the passion between them and felt that it was a satisfying end to Jett and Goldie’s story.

“I want you to tell me why you think I’m a bad driver.”
“I told you why. You drove on a sidewalk, you almost hit a person, and you, by far, surpassed every speed limit in the French Quarter.”
“So?” she asked, looking adorably frustrated.
“So, you’re a bad driver, but that’s okay, because you still looked fucking hot driving my car.”

Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if “It’s Raining Men” starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped.

Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing… enter her first novel, Caught Looking.

Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!
