I picked up Beautiful Entourage for just 99c and then purchased the audible narration for only $1.99! Bargain right? And it was a good read too!

I was browsing Amazon for a new Audible read, and I stumbled across Beautiful Entourage. I haven’t read anything written by E.L. Todd before, but the blurb for this read totally drew me in! The whole Male Escort job is what had me… with his rules that we all know, need to be broken! I did like this read, but I wasn’t blown away like I hoped to be.

Likes

• Rhett was an easy character to read about. He is a sweet guy who takes his job and his rules seriously. He’s a good judge of character and I could see the spark of interest flair in his eyes in regards to Aspen. She’s not like the usual girls he meets and wants to know more.
• Aspen is a successful woman, who wants to take over her father’s company. A bad relationship has left her a little shattered, but she’s determined to move past it, with the help of Rhett. She has a good heart, but members of her family continue to walk over her and I really wished she found someone to support her.
• I enjoyed seeing the relationship between Aspen and Rhett grow. They started as friends, doing normal things together and getting to know each other on a deeper level, not sexual. Once they admitted their feelings to each other, things became hot!
• I enjoyed the narration by Laura Jennings and Michael Ferraiuolo. They held my attention with their story telling and were easy to listen to. I felt that Laura sounded more natural and I enjoyed her perspectives the most.

Dislikes

• Aspens dad is a real jerk! He’s constantly putting her down and making her feel like crap. I get it, he’s a jerk, but despite wanting his company she should’ve put on her big girl panties and stood up for herself! If you are that unhappy with your family and your job, you need to make the change. You can’t just bottle it up and tell me you wish he were dead… So her inner dialogue annoyed me at times.

So despite Aspen ranting about her father, I did like the book. There were some secondary characters introduced that I would like to see more of. E.L. Todd has an easy writing style, and I enjoyed the alternating perspectives between Aspen and Rhett. If you are looking for a light romance, with a few family hurdles, you would enjoy this one!

This was the end of their first kiss... it was a sweet moment, considering how hurt Aspen was.

Rhett reluctantly broke the kiss, keeping his face against mine. He breathed hard and his eyes shined in desire. It seemed like I was the only one in the room who mattered.
