Nomi’s Weekly Wrap Up is a combined meme with the Sunday Post hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer and Stacking The Shelves hosted by Tynga’s Reviews. I’ll share news, post a recap of the past week and tell you what will be happening on my blog in the week ahead. I will also tell you about the books and goodies that I have managed to pick up.
This week was pretty busy with organising the kids as they returned to school. Hubby has been super busy with work, pulling some really long hours. Mean while, we have been running on only ONE air conditioner, just as the heatwave returned! Yay! All good now though, the air is up and running.
I have been busy trying to get ahead in my scheduling… AGAIN! I seem to get distracted easily, then leave it too long and have to catch up… But it looks like I’m on top of it now!!

The bliss that comes from air-con is hard to beat. We just got it installed at work on Friday. I'm so excited as temps usually get up into the high 30s (celsius) and the fan basically just moves hot air around. I hope yours gets up and running soon.
ReplyDeleteThat's quite a number of books ! Enjoy and have a nice sunday :)
ReplyDeleteI have been trying to hard to get ahead of myself but every time I sit to organize myself i start doing something else. That's pretty much my goal this month is to finish everything I said I was starting.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a fantastic week! Stay Cool

ReplyDeleteIt is finally up and going, just before the heat wave too... had consecutive 40+ days!!
ReplyDeleteI will, thanks!!
ReplyDeleteIt's always super busy when the kids go back to school, and they say that you have more time once they're at school, pfffftttt, yeah right! LOL
ReplyDeleteHope you're staying cool and you're getting your scheduling done. Have a great week!

Haha!! We are all like that I think, it just takes the pressure off!!
ReplyDeleteI will! Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteNo probs!!
ReplyDeleteIt was a great read, I really enjoyed it!
ReplyDeleteI did, and I am, don't worry! Been so hawt!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sharon! Even my youngest is back at Kinda, so I have No children today!! But now I'm busy catching up on emails and comments... sigh.. never ending!!
ReplyDeleteI can't seem to get caught up (let alone ahead) to save my life! I just decided that it would be better to try to stay current from today forward than to keep trying to catch up on posts and comments from the last couple weeks. It was getting impossible! Good luck getting ahead though, I'll envy from afar :)
ReplyDeleteI literally LOL when I read about your air conditioner, since I'm sitting here in Dallas, TX just wishing my HEATER would work a little better. I keep hiding my hands under a blanket when I'm not typing. I wish I could be there when it's winter here and vice versa.
Speaking of behind (and this is it in my ridiculously behind comment) I need to go look at your reviews! you've got some great ones, not to mention the early review of Wild Things. Jealous but so glad I get to read a review ;) I have it preordered and have to wait 2 more days...
Ha we are freezing our bottoms off and you are melting! Hope ya all get acclimated to the new school term. Enjoy your new books and have a lovely week.
ReplyDeleteHeat wave. lol Not so sure what that is anymore. :) Enjoy Collaboration, it is a new one to me and I will have to check it out. Happy reading.
ReplyDeleteHaha!! It is so funny that we are worlds apart, isn't it! just communicate via the WWW!! Hope the weather starts warming up for you soon!!
ReplyDeleteWe certainly are Kimberly... I think I have a few nice days now, but it will kick in again!
ReplyDeleteYou will warm up soon, I'm sure!! I really enjoyed it... Review next week!
ReplyDeleteI love books with music in them- and the girl with the guitar on the cover makes me want to read Collaboration! I hope you'll love it, Naomi.
ReplyDeleteYou've been really busy lately :) Have a fantastic week.

I did.... it's an awesome read!
ReplyDeleteOh that sucks about the A/C but yay for the kids being back in school.
ReplyDeleteIt is hard to stay on top of things, isn't it?
Enjoy Collaboration; I like the blue. :)
