One kiss sends Leah Gorman’s life into a tailspin.

After years sacrificing herself for Reckless Beat, Leah needs to catch her breath. She has to escape the constant chaos and revive her frayed nerves. There’s no better place than Vegas and the memory of a heavily-inked man with talented hands to make her heart palpitate for reasons other than stress. Logan is exactly what she needs right now… Or is he? Her pleasure comes at a price, and she will be left to question every aspect of her life and what her future holds.

This novella starts straight after the events of Sultry Groove (Reckless Beat 4) and will lead you into the final book of the Reckless Beat series.

It’s no secret that I love the Reckless Beat series, and I was so excited to get my hands on this in-between story of Leah’s, Reckless Rendezvous. She needed a break at the end of Sultry Groove, and she decided to head back to Vegas to see Logan who she met whilst fulfilling one of the tasks on the list in Reckless Weekend. He promised her more if she ever came back, so she felt it was time to take him up on his offer.

I liked seeing Leah spread her wings and step outside her comfort zone. She jumped on the plane and left the band and everything behind on the chance to meet up with Logan and to forget her feelings for Ryan, especially after what happened between them. She got what she needed and more from Logan but knew she had to get back to her own life.

This story was just as sizzling as I hoped, but also an eye opener for Leah, as she discovered what she needed to do to make her life hers once again. The time away helped her see things more clearly and Logan sure helped in that decision. I love Logan, and had high hopes for him… and honestly, I WANT to see more of him. He’s such a laid back guy and knows how to pleasure a woman, I tell you! This book was just what I needed while I wait for the fifth book in the series! I’m all for Leah finding her happiness, but I want to shake Ryan right now! I NEED to know what happens next for them!

There were a few great moments in this read, but I had to share this see ya later kiss from Logan... He's so yummy!

He leaned into her, without a smile, without humor, and gripped her chin between his finger and thumb.
Her breath caught. Held. The world disappeared as his mouth took hers. Quick. Hard. Demanding. He was there and gone in the blink of an eye. She was sure he planned it that way. A mere taste. A tease to her palate. A shot of something sinful to leave her begging for more.
“See you soon, Leah.” He dropped his hold on her chin and backed away.
