The final book in the Wrong series is now out, and what a finale it was! I loved Chloe and Boyd together, as Chloe's a character most people can connect with!
Title: Trust
Author: Jana Aston
Series: Wrong #3
Genre: Romantic Comedy
“Knock knock!”
“Um… Who’s there?”
Yeah. That was me, on my last date. Before you feel sorry for me
you should know that I was the one telling the jokes. Jokes as in
plural, because I didn’t stop with just one. Of course not.
Hi, I’m Chloe Scott. The most awkward single girl in the city.
But I’m going to get it together. I am.
I’m going to learn how to date like a grown up.
I’m going to have an orgasm not given to myself.
I’m going to fall in love and live happily ever after.
Right after I get out of this interrogation room.

Now this is what I've been waiting for — Chloe's book, and what a book it was! I loved that Chloe was a little awkward and didn't know how to date. Then there was Boyd, Sophie's half brother, FBI agent and totally hot! He was just the perfect guy for her... And this book had me experiencing all the feels. Trust was an amusing read, with the right amount of sexiness and the perfect amount of chemistry, between two people that quickly became my favourite couple in the series!
Chloe was a character that a lot of people can relate to. I could understand her awkwardness when it came to men, what to say and how to read them. She often spoke too much, said inappropriate things and lacked a little confidence. But put her in an environment that she loved... this girl thrived! She loved being a teacher, hanging with her friends and shopping at second hand stores or garage sales. She was my kind of quirky and I loved getting to know her.
Boyd was intrigued by Chloe from the first time they met. He had to get to know her and he understood her social anxiety. I loved the way he worked with that and talked her around why they were spending so much time together. He did sweet things to keep Chloe hooked, but gave her space when she needed to think things through.
Once Chloe and Boyd got together... oh boy! Was it hot! They were sizzling between the sheets and their connection continued to grow. I didn't think these two could get any hotter... UNTIL IT DID!
It was great to see the previous couples make appearances, and I liked how close the girls had become. They could rely on one another for advice and support whenever they needed it.
Jana Aston blew me away once again with her writing, the character development and she hooked me to the world she created. The alternating perspectives allowed me to see their thought process and what each of them was feeling. I enjoyed the banter and how easy Chloe and Boyd were together. Jana wove in Chloe's anxiety issues perfectly, and it really fleshed out her character. Although this series has come to an end, I am super excited to see what Jana will bring us next!

*** Swoon Thursday was first bought to us by YA Bound. Since they are no longer with us, and with permission from Trisha Wolfe, I have decided that those of us that love to swoon need a central meet up point. So here it is ladies! I have a link up for everyone at the bottom of the post you can add your swoons to, and I’ll set it up every week! So tell all other swooners out there to come on over, link up so we can visit each other! ***
Here is a moment between Chloe and Boyd that's a little awkward, but so sweet!
“Are you upset that I kissed you?”
“No.” I shake my head back and forth. “No.”
“Okay.” He says it slowly like he’s not sure he believes me.
“I’m not upset.”
“Okay.” This time he says it without question.
“I liked it,” I insist. “My leg liked it a lot.” This moment is weird. There’s all this weird energy between us. Or maybe it’s all in my head? How does anyone know? I want to toss some cash on the table and drag him back to our hotel room, but maybe he’s questioning why he brought me on this trip when he could have brought someone—anyone—else.
But he laughs and says, “My leg liked it too, Chloe,” so I think maybe we’re on the same page.

Jana Aston works a really boring day job. Really. Boring. In her spare time she loves to read sexy romance novels, especially if they involve an alpha CEO. Wrong is her first novel.
