Cindi Madsen continues to win me over with her Taking Shots series! Dane and Megan's story was fun but difficult too. I'm keen from more stories from this world too!
Title: Crazy Pucking Love
Author: Cindi Madsen
Series: Taking Shots #3
Genre: Sports Romance
Published: November 7th 2016
I just met the girl of my dreams.
Megan Davenport is funny and smart, and she’s as much of an insomniac as I am. She’s also my team captain’s little sister, which I only found out after our passionate kiss.
Megan is completely off-limits—her brother makes that very clear—and I know better than to think I can keep a relationship going during hockey season anyway. But that doesn’t mean we can’t be late-night friends, right?
The only problem is, love makes you do crazy things, like breaking all the rules.

How I love this series and seeing the nerdy girls fall for the dreamy ice hockey guys! I was not disappointed with Dane and Megan's story either. These two had some serious chemistry, and I loved seeing them fight their attraction. It was sweet to see them getting to know one another and realise they had so much in common.
Megan was Beck's younger sister and she had been through a difficult time and wanted a fresh start in college. She was a maths and list girl, and had every intention on sticking to the rules she set out for herself. It was great to see that she was still close with her brother, and had a good relationship with Lyla as well. I loved how passionate she was about hockey, enjoying watching her brother and games on TV.
Dane lived with a lot of guilt and was so focused on succeeding so that he could try to keep his family together. He had no intention on getting into a relationship, but was drawn to Megan despite her being Beck's little sister and totally off limits. He tried to keep Megan in the friendship box, but it was hard as their feelings grew stronger to one another. He was a great guy, with a kind heart and put everyone else before himself.
I really enjoyed watching the relationship between Megan and Dane unfold. There was a lot of push and pull between them and denial on Dane's part as he kept pushing Megan away. It was sad to see that both Megan and Dane's pasts still made a big impact on their current decisions. But there was no denying that these two belonged together, no matter the hurdles they had to overcome. I really enjoyed this story and seeing the characters from the previous books too. I'm keen for more from this world, I tell ya!

I loved this kiss... I just had to share!
“Good night, Megan.”
A hint of sadness edged her smile. She turned to open the door, and panic flooded me.
Oh, fuck it. I took a large stride forward, grabbed her arm and spun her around, and crashed my lips into hers.
She curled her hands into my shirt, tugging me closer, and I happily complied. I dug my fingers into her silky-soft hair, cupping the back of her head so I could deepen the kiss. She parted her lips, and I pressed her flat to the door as my tongue met hers.

USA Today Bestselling author Cindi Madsen sits at her computer every chance she gets, plotting, revising, and falling in love with her characters. Sometimes it makes her a crazy person. Without it, she'd be even crazier. She has way too many shoes but can always find a reason to buy a new pretty pair, especially if they're sparkly, colorful, or super tall. She loves music, dancing, and wishes summer lasted all year long. She lives in Colorado (where summer is most definitely NOT all year long) with her husband and three children.
