These chance encounter reads from writing duo Vi Keeland & Penelope Ward have me hooked! I love the humour they entwine throughout the stories and I'm on edge waiting for more!
Title: Stuck-Up Suit
Author: Vi Keeland & Penelope Ward
Genre: Contemporary Romance
It started out like any other morning on the train.
Until I became mesmerized by the guy sitting across the aisle.
He was barking at someone on his phone like he ruled the world.
Who did the stuck-up suit think he was...God?
Actually, he looked like a God. That was about it.
When his stop came, he got up suddenly and left. So suddenly, he dropped his phone on the way out.
I might have picked it up.
I might have gone through all of his photos and called some of the numbers.
I might have held onto the mystery man's phone for days―until I finally conjured up the courage to return it.
When I traipsed my ass across town to his fancy company, he refused to see me.
So, I left the phone on the empty desk outside the arrogant jerk's office.
I might have also left behind a dirty picture on it first though.
I didn't expect him to text back.
I didn't expect our exchanges to be hot as hell.
I didn't expect to fall for him―all before we even met.
The two of us couldn't have been any more different.
Yet, you know what they say about opposites.
When we finally came face to face, we found out opposites sometimes do more than attract―we consumed each other.
Nothing could have prepared me for the ride he took me on. And I certainly wasn't prepared for where I'd wind up when the ride was over.
All good things must come to an end, right?
Except our ending was one I didn't see coming.

After reading Aubrey and Chance’s story I knew I had to continue reading more from this entertaining and quirky writing duo. Vi Keeland & Penelope Ward have created another story of a chance encounter, where the characters find the one person that changes life as they knew it.
Soraya was such a fun quirky character! I loved that in the beginning that she would try and avoid awkward conversations and would go to extremes to get past it. She liked to people watch and would give people names. That is how she met Mr. Big Prick and noticed when he dropped his phone. It was a little stalkerish, but I loved some of the things she did. When she finally returned the phone I loved how confident and blunt she was with Mr. Big Prick and she gave him a piece of her mind! It was hilarious and had me fist pumping the air! You go girl!
Graham wasn’t a very polite person and didn’t realise how bad he was until the smart mouthed girl set him straight! It was hard to keep his mind off her even though he didn’t know what she looked like. I enjoyed getting to know him, watching him open up and understanding why he was so abrupt and closed off. It was heartbreaking but still good to see him finally healing.
I really enjoyed Soraya and Graham’s story. It began as a lust filled feast, but the more time they spent together, the deeper they got. There were a few hurdles along the way, some small but others were huge and had my jaw hitting the floor.
Vi Keeland & Penelope Ward have become a must read duo for me! Each book I have read has the right amount of humour, romance and twists to keep me glued to the pages. There were difficult moments that had me getting angry, but it showed that I was emotionally invested in the story. It was a fantastic read, and I loved the little cameo appearance too! I am so excited to see what chance encounter they come up with next!
I just loved Graham! He made me laugh, but damn that man can kiss!
When I slowly moved toward her, she walked backward toward a large, concrete pillar. I backed her up against it and wrapped my hands around her cheeks, planting my lips over her mouth. She opened for me as my eager tongue went in search of hers. All life around me disappeared. The sound of surrender she made into my mouth egged me on to kiss her deeper.

“Give a little, Soraya. It’s a ride home, not a ride on my cock. And I think you know by now that I’m not a serial killer.”

“And to think, I was going to fuck you full of nice. You never cease to amaze me, Soraya. It would be my pleasure to leave the gentleman at the door and fuck you four ways dirty.”

She is a boring attorney by day, and an exciting smut author by night!
Penelope Ward is a New York Times, USA Today and Wall Street Journal Bestselling author. She grew up in Boston with five older brothers and spent most of her twenties as a television news anchor, before switching to a more family-friendly career.
