Her first thought: "Who are you?"
It's the morning after her cousin's bachelorette party in Vegas and Megan Scott wakes up with the mother of all hangovers. Even worse, she's in a stranger's penthouse having woken up with something else as well - a funny, arrogant, sexy...husband!

Up until now, finding even a boyfriend had seemed impossible - been there, got the broken heart, sworn off men for good. Then a few martinis with Carter...no, Connor Reed and she's gone from first meet to marriage in one night!

Megan wants a lawyer. But Connor's shocking bombshell?

"I don't want a divorce."
I wanted a light hearted romance to read, and I certainly got it in this book… Seriously how would you react if you woke up with a rock on your finger? And you can't recall how it happened! When I read the blurb I just had to see how this happened and how the characters dealt with it.

Megan is a person with a plan. It may involve no partner or husband, but it does include sperm and having a baby so she can begin her family. Relationships are just too heartbreaking and complicated so she just wants to bypass the process. She has a fair bit of pressure put on her about it from family and friends, but is willing to do it anyway. When she crosses paths with a handsome stranger in a bar, they have a night of fun, doing things together and letting their hair down. They share their plans and secrets and before she knows it, Megan wakes up Married.

Megan and Connor are well suited but are unable to see how deep their connection is. Although Megan wants to call off the marriage immediately, Connor convinces her to give it a try and we get to see how they manage it.

Waking Up Married was an easy read and is enjoyed how it all played out. The characters have great chemistry and even to me the new plan makes sense… *wink* The characters have to sort through their own emotions and that is the biggest hurdle for them. If you are looking for a quick romance to read, I definitely suggest this one!!

I received a copy of this book from the Harlequin via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
