The kids were back at school this week, so I was able to catch up on some blogging stuff. I am still behind on posts, but I hope to have them done in the next week or so; they are written up, I just have to build the post for them to go in!

I spent a bit of time browsing Amazon this week… I picked up a few books on special… My 1-click button got used a bit! Oh well!

Otherwise, it was a week of normal stuff: work, netball training, more work and netball/football. My winters are busy!!

This was just fantastic!! When I started reading it, I thought it was going to be about the bad boy and lead singer of a band falling in love with the girl he rescued… but it was waaaay more than that! Twist after twist was thrown in and my jaw kept hitting the floor! It was definitely not like anything I had read before!

The Virgin Romance Novelist was quite an amusing read as I followed Rosie, as she explored her sexuality and the dating world.

Meet Me in the Dark is a dark, intense and crazy read! I am used to J.A. Huss writing books that mess with my head, but this one certainly took the cake! Merc and Sydney’s journey was an exhilarating ride, had me cringing in places but I could see it building into something incredible.

All the guys from the Beautiful series have had strong dominant personalities, so it was kind of refreshing to meet Niall, confident in the boardroom, but completely reserved when it comes to anything regarding emotions and intimacy. Ruby was the more determined and controlling person in this slow building romance, and was patient with Niall as he figured out what he wanted both in a relationship and the bedroom.

I am speechless! There was so much that happened in One Love and I loved reading every moment of it! It was intense, calculating and frightening! I was flicking the pages, hoping things would work out, but things were getting worse before it even looked like getting better.

The kids are almost finished their school holidays, and have kept me quite busy, hence the lack of post last week, sorry!! We began our football and netball seasons, where my daughter had her first game of netball, and she loved it. We went to visit my mother for a night, where my youngest got sick… argh! Then Easter weekend was upon us: I had to work Good Friday, we went to visit friends and on the way home shopped for my daughter’s 10^th birthday party during the week. 7 girls having a sleepover… oi! It was eventful, I tell you! Close off the holidays with more Netball and Footy and my daughters actual birthday and we are exhausted!! Back to school tomorrow, and hopefully I will be able to catch up!!

I am a big fan of Kylie Scott’s Stage Dive series after reading and falling in love with each and character throughout the series. Deep is Ben’s book and the final book in the series, and to me, probably the most difficult one, as Lizzy and Ben’s journey had a fair few complications to take into account.

I can’t believe it! The Bloodlines series has come to an end, and so has the Vampire Academy world! I have loved this series since the first book in the original series and I have loved getting to know Adrian and Sydney more personally in the Bloodlines series.
