Six years before my phone rang and changed my life forever, I made a mistake.
I met a girl, we had some fun, and then we had a baby. And I fell pretty damn hard for my daughter. I was going to be there. I was going to give her everything I never had. I was going to have a family.
And then her mother disappeared and took my baby with her.
And now she’s done it again. Because that call that changed my life was from my five-year-old daughter asking me if I knew where her Mommy was.
Then came the lawyers. And the demands from her super-rich, super-powerful messed-up family. And the little fact that my ex didn’t just “disappear” she was “presumed dead”.
I don’t live a traditional lifestyle and I’m not in a traditional relationship.
But I can pretend if I have to.
And that was the plan when my two “best friends” and I decided to hire “professional liar” Brooke Alder to be my fake fiancée.
It’s totally gonna work. As long as MY super-rich, super-powerful, messed-up family doesn’t get in the way.
Bossy Brothers: Joey is book two in the Bossy Brothers series and features a delicious, burning hot, MMFM, surprise-baby, fake fiancée story with a twist that proves committed couples don’t just come in two’s, mistakes can be a good thing, and for some people—non-traditional love is exactly the kind they should fight for.

This has been the hottest book that I have read in a while! After finishing Jesse I was keen to meet his middle brother and I was hooked immediately.
Joey had been running from his life for a while and returned home with his two best friends after a mysterious phone call. He was on the hunt for a fake fiancé when Brooke stumbled into his world. Joey tried to keep her at a distance but it soon became apparent that his friends approved and would do whatever they could to persuade him.
I liked watching all the relationships grow as they formed connections and memories. They were always playing towards Joey's goal. But they were all looking for happiness and their own family connections.
Huss created a range of interesting characters that formed quite the bond. The story was quite hot, and all characters were strong alpha types. They all had quirks and interesting pasts but together they really clicked. By the end of the story, I was keen to see where things would go next, into Johnny's book.

I just loved how fiesty Brooke was and she would put the guys in their places!
“... I’ll just go back out to the reception desk and get on with the business of becoming an independent sales rep for Bright Berry Beach.” Huck snickers at my goal.
So I turn to him, point my finger at him. “You know what? Laugh all you want. But that’s why I came here. And I was excited about it. I could be happy being some normal, middle-class girl who wears pink skirt suits and sells lipstick by organizing online parties. It sounds like a fucking dream job after what I’ve been doing for the past fifteen years.”

“I really know how to pick them, don’t I?”
“What?”
“You,” I say. “You’re one of the strong ones, Brooke.”
“You didn’t pick me,” she says. “Huck did.” And it’s not snide or anything. Just a fact.
But I hold her hand up and turn it so she can see the ring flashing in the sunlight.
And I say, “I did pick you.”
