This was a fantastic sequel to the first book. It was good to see Kallik and Lan continue on their journey to get into Underhill. There were many hurdles along the way, loyalties were tested and relationships grew. I liked seeing Kallik and Lan being able to bond again and to see Kallik work on her magic with help of new friends. The ending was exciting and I'm excited to continue in the last book!
