After
how Love Sprung from Hate ended, I have been excited to get my hands
on the next book in the Dark Romeo series, to see if Roman
and Julianna would be able to get
themselves out of the situation they were in. It was exciting,
intense and just as sizzling as the first book in the series.
I
liked seeing more to Romans life, and that Julianna
was able to get to know Roman better as well. She also found herself
in a situation that threatened her life that she needed to be rescued
from. But each of these moments brought them closer. I liked seeing
their relationship grow, but there was always something that would
tear them apart. I know these two belong together, but the dangers
and circumstances tore them apart.
I
felt that this book had that middle book syndrome; it was a little
back and forth, where they wanted to act on their feelings, did so,
and then would pull back. The connection was definitely there, enough
to say that their feelings were solidifying, but the dangers always
threw them into jeopardy. I am keen to see where things will go to
from here, though, and cannot wait for the final book!
