Sorry I didn't participate in last weeks F&F, girls weekend away!! Priorities people!! But I'm back now, let the fun begin again!!
Here’s this week’s question:
Here’s this week’s question:
When you step out of your USUAL genre what do you like to read? Best books in that genre?
I am usually all Paranormal, but lately I have ventured out and read a little contemporary romance. Not one paranormal creature in sight... and I love it! I must say though, one of my favourite authors writes paranormal and some contemporary/romance... so that has helped!! (ahm... Michelle Leighton – Down To You and The Wild Ones)

Also, a bit of erotica/BDSM, don’t ask me why, just happened!! (Maybe it’s your fault Liz!! Haha!!) Although, I haven’t read much of it lately.
What do you think?

I've heard really great things about The Wild Ones... maybe I'll need to check it out. :)
ReplyDeleteI've read loads about The Wild Ones, it sounds interesting! I am a huge romance fan myself :)
ReplyDeleteNew follower!
I love contemporary romance too, especially with some hot steamy scenes but I don't usually feature those books on my blog as I want to keep my blog family-friendly. Thanks for stopping by! New GFC follower :)
ReplyDeleteHopping through. Hope you had a fun girl's weekend. I didn't comment on FFs last week because i was out of town. Priorities - I agree.
ReplyDeleteMy Hop
I'm actually starting to delve into those same genres myself which has been...interesting to say the least so far. Great genre choices!

Contemporary Romance is hard for me to get into, I've tried! I love romance, but it has to be paranormal. Haha. Thanks for stopping by Ink Spots and Roses!
ReplyDeleteHopping through. Great choice for stepping out of your favorite genre!

ReplyDeleteOh, you do!! Check them both out!!
ReplyDeleteWell, you need to get these!! They are the first in 2 different series by Michelle
ReplyDeleteMmm.. I think thats why I picked them!!
ReplyDeleteThats a good idea. I've noticed some bloggers run 2 sites to separate YA and Adult stuff, but I'm flat out with one site!!
ReplyDeleteHaha!! We lead very busy lives!! So we prioritise well!!
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting!! I'm having fun so far!!
ReplyDeleteYA Paranormal/Rom has been my first love, but I've been expanding as of late!!
ReplyDeleteThat's my favourite too, but I've read some popular ones featured on other blogs to see what the fuss is about and have been surprised by them.
ReplyDeleteThank you!! It's always great to broaden the horizons!!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!! I'm enjoying it so far!!
