This week was the Regionals in my daughters cross country, and her first attempt in a muddy and hilly track. We were amazed at how well she did considering she usually runs on really flat tracks. She came 12th and is now off to compete at State level!! Whoop whoop!
My throat is a lot better this week, thank you all for the well wishes! It was just annoying that I didn’t really feel under the weather.
We’ve had a lot of rain this week which has been great! It really feels like winter and I don’t feel guilty about snuggling up to read!!

Oh yay well done to your daughter, that's fantastic. Good luck at state!
ReplyDeleteWe've had a fair bit of rain up here too, great weather to snuggle up and read.
Have a great week!
Way to go for your daughter. She's quite the athlete! No rain hear, just lots of heat. I read indoors most of this week.

That's really exciting about your daughter! I'd fall flat on my face on that track. No way I could run on it.
ReplyDeleteHaha! Yes, not great, but mostly on the bottom... mud up the back of her clothes too!
ReplyDeleteYup! And she powered through there listening to us yell!
ReplyDeleteThanks girl! And I am, thank goodness!
ReplyDeleteI know! We all have those one day reads!
ReplyDeleteAnd YES! Bring on the sleep ins!
It was tougher than what she is used to, but rounded them all up on the flat!
ReplyDeleteMmm... I am loving the weather for that particular reason too!
ReplyDeleteShe is! Loves running and any sport we throw at her!
ReplyDeleteHehe! I know what you mean, I'd do an ankle! I'd prefer flat surfaces!
