Love and hate aren’t all that different.
Two sides of the same coin, the yin and the yang.
Once upon a time, Jason Ross loved me. And now that he knows what I’ve done, I see the love and the hate warring within him.
I see the way he looks at me.
The way he wonders how I could do the things I’ve done.
I hear it in the way he begs me to stop, to leave this life and run away with him.
But there’s only one way I’m leaving LA.
And that’ll be when Dornan and the rest of his sons are dead and buried.
Jase might forgive me for what I’ve done.
But will he forgive me for the crimes I’m yet to commit?

Holy shit people! Four Score was freakin' awesome! This was a big book for both Jules/Sammi and Jase, and I just didn't want things to change. They grew as people, found comfort with one another… But it was only a matter of time before the crap hit the fan.
Jules/Sammi is a bit fragile in the beginning of Four Score, but after a while she settles and is able to think clearly again. One of her closest friends feels betrayed, and she finds that difficult, but in the end she is focused on the end game.
There is so much I want to say about this book, but it would spoil it for you, but what I will say is that when you are done, you will want they next one immediately. I absolutely love this series and if you like dark reads, you need to get onto this series. The world Lili has created feels so real and you will want to see Jules/Sammi's story until the end!

Sounds really good! I like protagonists that start out fragile, but toughen up by the time we reach the ending. Another tantalising review :)
