HarperCollins Australia sent me this massive book! I love it and am reading it now. My sister introduced me to this author and world three years ago... I am hooked!

O.O 744 pages?! Holy hannah. That's huge. Lol. Be honest, how cold is cold in Australia? Seriously, I want to know.
ReplyDeleteOOoh very nice! Those are all new to me reads! But that's the fun of blogging! Learning about new reads every day!
ReplyDeleteWhoa! 744 pages? That's insane! That's Harry Potter level! LOL! I am pretty sure, from my scattered memory those are still the longest books I've ever read!
Enjoy your new reads!
My STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by then!
Have a GREAT day!

Oooh, Fool's Quest looks very yummy. 750 pages is quite the feat - good luck to you, fair lady! <3
ReplyDeleteWow, long book! Good luck and have fun with that :) I like the look of The Shadow Aspect so I'll have to check out book 1. I hope you have a nice week and enjoy your new reads!

OOO looking forward to your Robin Hobb review. I have one of his books on my shelf but havent cracked it open yet.
ReplyDeleteHow long will it take you to read a book like that. I haven't read a book like that in years and don't think I could at this point-just too many I need to read. I am glad you are enjoying it though. I am not familiar with any of the other books. Hope to see your reviews :) Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteSo you like the Robin Hobb books? I saw Fool's Quest was up for review, but I haven't read the first book. Is this trilogy a spin-off or connected somehow to any of her other ones? Because I might read it if it's not.
ReplyDeleteWhat book are you reading that's 744 pages?! Congrats on being up to date. I'm always behind. Some times more than others... I'm wishing for colder weather, because it's been in the 90's where I live. (United States- Southern California) I'm looking forward to seeing what you think of Misbehaving, because that author interests me. Have a great weekend!

A 744 page book?!? Holy cow. I hope it's a good one!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to come back and check out your misbehaving review. I've yet to read Reisz but I keep hearing sch good things about her.
Glad to hear everyone is well. :)
I just finished The Shadow Aspect and loved it. I'd been waiting some time for it and happy with how it went. Don't you love those huge books. It's about time I dusted one off and tackled it. LOL
ReplyDeleteHere's my Sunday Post - http://fuonlyknew.com/2015/07/26/whats-new-on-my-bookshelf-118-and-the-sunday-post/
Yup, books from this author are always huge!
ReplyDeleteYes... Fool's Quest is huge for me! lol
ReplyDeleteSome of my days start at 0'c... so 32 for you? It gets chilly because the wind blows down from the snow... But in summer, it can get really hot! 38-40'c so 100-110'f
I know! I am usually reading waaaay shorter book than that!
ReplyDeleteIt is a long book, but it's so good! I'm keen to get to the Shadow Aspect.
ReplyDeleteI love this world... and am trying to devour it!
ReplyDeleteI started last week, reading a bit each day when I can. Hopefully I am done by the end of the week. I have another book on the go too, to have a break *wink*
ReplyDeleteIt is connected to the other books, but I think you could read it if you wanted to. You get details from the past explained throughout the story, which is good, cos I can't re-read the others for a refresher! Fool's Quest continues immediately after the first book in this series.
ReplyDeleteFool's Quest by Robin Hobb... but it is soooo good! I love this world!
ReplyDeleteIt is a good one... Robin Hobb never fails to deliver!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you loved Shadow Aspect, I have scheduled it for September... but should read it very soon!
