Nomi’s Weekly Wrap Up is a combined meme with the Sunday Post hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer, Bought, Borrowed and Bagged hosted by Braine @ Talk Supe and Stacking The Shelves hosted by Tynga’s Reviews. I’ll share news, post a recap of the past week and tell you what will be happening on my blog in the week ahead. I will also tell you about the books and goodies that I have managed to pick up.
The kids are almost finished their school holidays, and have kept me quite busy, hence the lack of post last week, sorry!! We began our football and netball seasons, where my daughter had her first game of netball, and she loved it. We went to visit my mother for a night, where my youngest got sick… argh! Then Easter weekend was upon us: I had to work Good Friday, we went to visit friends and on the way home shopped for my daughter’s 10th birthday party during the week. 7 girls having a sleepover… oi! It was eventful, I tell you! Close off the holidays with more Netball and Footy and my daughters actual birthday and we are exhausted!! Back to school tomorrow, and hopefully I will be able to catch up!!

I got Meet Me in the Dark, too, Naomi, I just started reading it... I didn't actually get it until this morning, though, so it will be included in my haul next week :)
ReplyDeleteThe holidays are over for my kids as well.. today is the last day of 'freedom' for a while as school is back tomorrow.
I hope you'll enjoy your new books. Have a wonderful week and happy reading.
Dang! Yall really have been busy. Boo on the kidlet getting sick. Hope everyone's feeling okay now :)
ReplyDeleteNice! I still need to read The Return, but my review pile is preventing me! It's driving me batty too! I want to see Seth again! LOL!
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy your new reads!
Here's my STS
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
Thank god I have a boy! No girly sleepovers here! And happy birthday Little Naomi!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a busy but enjoyable week ahead :)
I remember sleepovers. My son had two friends that practically lived with us for years. LOL Sounds like fun but hectic!
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday Post - http://fuonlyknew.com/2015/04/12/whats-new-on-my-book-shelf-104-and-the-sunday-post/
I really enjoyed Asa. Hope you enjoy all your books.
ReplyDeleteSuper haul, Naomi - you probably can't wait to tear into it, right? My week was pretty uneventful compared to yours, lol :) You're really amazing juggling so many things... I feel like I should be clapping for you :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Secret sounds good! Hope you enjoy and have a great upcoming week.
ReplyDeleteI was that far behind in posts, that I put it together after I got the book! I am trying to finish Beautiful Secret, so that I can get onto it!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, must've been a 24hour thing, because he was fine for Easter!
ReplyDeleteI know! I only finished the Covenant series a little while a go, but my Review pile is building... had to get it while it was on sale though.
ReplyDeleteMmmm.... it is going to be a long time until it happens again, I tell you! The boys will want them next though!
ReplyDeleteIt was hectic!! lol
ReplyDeleteDo you think Asa is good as a standalone? I have only read Rule, and managed to snag a copy of Asa.
ReplyDeleteIt has been a very bust fortnight, and I have quickly read a few of them. Hope to polish them off soon!
ReplyDeleteIt has been great so far! Love Niall!!
ReplyDeleteWow, you certainly have had a busy two weeks. A sleepover with 7 girls. You're game. My maximum has only ever extended to five and that was exhausting. I have also been a bit slow on the blogging front these past two weeks. Kids are back at school now though, so hopefully I'll have a little more time to get caught up. Nice haul of books. I think you will like The Return. Seth is a little different in this one. Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteTell me about it! I am bust trying to catch up on comments, then crossposting reviews, then I better get some reviews up!
ReplyDeleteGlad you survived the birthday party!! :-) I can't wait to see what you think of JLA's book - I've had my eye on that one!
ReplyDeleteNicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction
Ack. Beautiful Secret! WANT. WANT. WANT. I'll be on the lookout for your review!
ReplyDeleteI am hoping to get onto it ASAP!! I need to get it reviewed by Wednesday!!
ReplyDeleteIt has been fantastic! I tell you!!
ReplyDeleteYou've been busy! And oh my, you got some hawt covers! Whew!
ReplyDeleteI hope this week is calmer for you. :)
It helps if you've read Rome but you don't have to. She does a good job of explaining the major event that happens for Asa at the end of that book. I think you can read it stand alone.
ReplyDeleteI know! Loving the covers!! I hope my week is more relaxed too!
ReplyDeleteThanks Val... I hope it works out ok then!
ReplyDeleteOMG! It is such a dark, twisted tale, Naomi! You are going to LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing that we're always so busy but add in the kids *all* day and it's a whirlwind of activity?? I hope you get to enjoy a little peace and quiet today. :) I'm loving your haul, Naomi. I'm particularly curious about Thrust. You are a big Victoria Ashley fan, aren't you? I'm going to have to read Hemy and whichever book was #2 (or #1 if Hemy is #2) soon. But I *must* read Lili St. Germain first. ;) Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteSometimes I miss the days when my kiddos had so much going on to keep you on your toes. Then, I think about how much I sleep in on the weekends, LOL! I only received my virtual signing for The Shadows by J.R. Ward this week. I did however order from Book Outlet. My weakness. I'm still trying really hard to stick to my book buying budget!
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping to finally read The Return this week! I am ready to see a whole different side of Seth :) Hope you have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteWow you're kids are back to school already? We have another week to go. Enjoy your kid free time. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying it so far Lexie!!
ReplyDeleteI am a fan of Victoria's! She is a great story teller, I love her witty characters and strong personalities.
ReplyDeleteI have loved my kid free time, I tell you! It is nice to relax and unwind!
I am busy buying a lot of sale books this week... sigh! My haul is going to be huge next week, I assure you!!
ReplyDeleteMy kiddos are still young, but I still get a sleep in where I can, they know mum needs her time occasionally!!
I want to read that too, but I received a few arcs I need to get to first!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, this set of holidays only has one week that overlaps with NSW, but the rest are usually aligned!
ReplyDeleteEvery one of your news books looks good Naomi. Ooo sleepovers..yeah lots of coffee required! Sounds like you have been busy, but glad all is well
ReplyDeleteOr alcohol!! lol It wasn't too bad, they just take forever to settle down!!
