Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill of Breaking the Spine where I have the chance to spotlight an upcoming release that I’m eagerly anticipating.
Red Queen
A thrilling new fantasy trilogy for fans of DIVERGENT and THE HUNGER GAMES.
The poverty stricken Reds are commoners, living under the rule of the Silvers, elite warriors with god-like powers.
To Mare Barrow, a 17-year-old Red girl from The Stilts, it looks like nothing will ever change.
Mare finds herself working in the Silver Palace, at the centre of
those she hates the most. She quickly discovers that, despite her red blood, she possesses a deadly power of her own. One that threatens to destroy Silver control.
But power is a dangerous game. And in this world divided by blood, who will win?
Who said roommates had to be friends?
When Gemma Bradley graduated from college, she jumped at the offer to live with her best friends cousin, who had a vacant room. But when she met Lukas Norton, she wondered if she had made a mistake.
Gemma and Lukas are roommates who despise each other. Gemma thinks that Lukas is a player and a wanna-be musician, and Lukas thinks that Gemma is a spoiled brat. Gemma likes quiet time. Lukas likes to practice with his band. Gemma likes to read, and draw. Lukas likes to have his friends over and party.
Just when Gemma thinks that Lukas can’t be any more obnoxious, he starts a dating service in the apartment. Gemma decides to take matters into her own hands and get Lukas back. The only problem is she can’t stop thinking about his smile when she goes to sleep at night.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great Wednesday!!
Red Queen looks GOOD, however I suspect that it's already on Jessica's wishlist, and seeing how she's coming back in January, I'll let her have it because I'm nice like that. ;) Happy (almost) 2015!
ReplyDeleteOkay, I like the sound of He thinks he's the one. And I love the premise. Living with someone you don't like but are attracted to. Yeah, all kinds of fun there.
ReplyDeleteRed Queen really looks interesting! I hope it's as good as all the hype. :)
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to read Red Queen since forever too! I love the cover as well, it's so intriguing. I haven't been reading a lot for some reason these days, but I'm going to add I Think He's the One on my TBR list :)

ReplyDeleteRed Queen isn't even out yet? Sheesh. It seems like I've been seeing it everywhere.

ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! I hope 2015 will be a fantastic year for you in every way :)
They both sound good, Naomi, but I'm most intrigued with The Red Queen. :) I think at this moment, I'm most excited for releases from KMM and Rachel Vincent.
