Review ~ Bronagh by L.A. Casey

Bronagh (Slater Brothers, #1.5)Title: Bronagh
Author: L.A. Casey
Series: Slater Brothers #1.5
Genre: NA Contemporary Romance
Published: August 15th 2014

Bronagh Murphy has been through a lot over the past few years, a hell of a lot, so when her 21st birthday rolls around all she wants to do is relax and spend the day with her family. Quietly.

Her boyfriend, Dominic Slater, doesn't do relaxed or quiet. He never has, and he never will. He plans out a day for Bronagh that is both romantic, and exciting. However, Dominic's version of exciting is very different to Bronagh's as she will soon find out.

When things take a turn for the worst, and a bad altercation leaves Dominic once again fighting for his girl, Bronagh will have to decide once and for all if she will fight in Dominic's corner or walk away and never look back.

Bronagh loves Dominic, and what Bronagh loves, Bronagh protects.

I just loved Dominic, the first book in the Slater Brothers series! It featured Bronagh, the sassy and fiery Irish girl, and Dominic the smartass American! Their relationship took time to build because they clashed more often than not. I thoroughly enjoyed the journey and just had to get the novella to see how they were travelling three years later, on Bronagh’s 21st birthday.

Bronagh’s book was just as entertaining as the first book and I was laughing and swooning all the way through. Dominic pushed Bronagh out of her comfort zone, but the rewards were worth it in the end. Even though this story happened in one day, I think both Bronagh and Dominic grew as people and they finished the day stronger than ever.

In this novella, there were a few hints dropped as to who some of the other Slater boys are going to hook up with. There were no major spoilers or anything, but I am excited to meet the girls that are going to sweep these brothers off their feet.

I again loved the world that L.A. Casey created; even though it is a romance she injects plenty of humour into the story that you can read the whole book with a smile on your face. The characters are ones you feel you already know and their stories are always amusing. I am excited to dive into Alec because I love all these brothers, and he is one that can have your toes curling!
