Nomi’s Weekly Wrap Up is a combined meme with the Sunday Post hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer, Bought, Borrowed and Bagged hosted by Braine @ Talk Supe and Stacking The Shelves hosted by Tynga’s Reviews. I’ll share news, post a recap of the past week and tell you what will be happening on my blog in the week ahead. I will also tell you about the books and goodies that I have managed to pick up.
This week I was able to catch up on a lot of review posts. I was a bit behind but now I am feeling a bit better. I caught up on cross posting too… So really it was a very productive week!
I began the final module in my Proofreading and Editing course. The first section is dealing with authors and how to interact with them when editing their work and I was a little proud of myself because I do things like that already.
Netball is going well too. We have made finals and are in the home stretch! I want to win this year after the poor finals experience we had last year!!

Productive is good :) And that module sounds quite useful and practical. You had a good week!
ReplyDeleteNice haul, Naomi! It looks like quite a few people got Rock Addiction this week. Sadly, I was not one of them.
ReplyDeleteYou should be proud of yourself. You do interact well with authors. I should know since I am one of them.
Hope you had a good weekend and enjoy the week ahead. :)
I saw the price for Dominic dropping, and I bit into my desk coz I'm on a book buying ban. It's so not fair!!! T.T
ReplyDeleteI debated about requesting Rock Addiction, too, but I didn't want to start yet another series. And I saw Mr X, too, before the ban, but it didn't scream MOMMY. ^^
Love your swag... again, no fair. ^^ Hope you'll have a great next week. xo
Oh, you have Rock addiction by Nalini Singh, can't wait to see what you think of it ! I do love her Psy-changeling series but read not so good reviews for that one. I got Bend too :) Great book haul, have a great week and enjoy !
ReplyDeleteIt's always a great feeling when you get those reviews done. Congratulations on that and on doing well in your proofreading and editing course. I'm also curious on what you'll think about Rock Addiction. I've read it and really liked it but I did see lots of not-so good reviews about it. Happy reading and have a great week ahead!
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday Post
I can't wait to read Rock Addiction. I love Nalini Singh's work. I don't normally read much contemporary, but for her, I will make an exception and check it out.
ReplyDeleteSo many pretties!!! Enjoy them. Good luck with your last course!

Come is new to me but sounds good. Hope you enjoy and have a great upcoming week.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your JA Huss books and I'm curious if that NSingh book is any good, not into rockstars but it's Singh so I hope it's good.
ReplyDeleteGlad your class is going so well! I'm really looking forward to your Heir of Fire review. Someday I'll read that series ...
ReplyDeleteGreat book haul this week! Congrats on getting to the last class! Good luck and have a great week!
ReplyDeleteYay for productive weeks like that! Love getting all caught up. I'm due for a review binge pretty soon myself. So many sitting in drafts. Hope you have a great week Naomi!
ReplyDeleteNice haul :) Cannot wait to see what you think of N. Singh's rocker romance.

I did! Thanks Bea... always busy!
ReplyDeleteHaha... yes, you are Marilyn!! It is a great beginning to my final assessment, and good to see things are going right.
ReplyDeleteThe weekend was busy, but good!
I know what you mean... but you kind of have to just do it *wink*
ReplyDeleteThanks girl!!
I have started Rock Addiction... all good so far.
ReplyDeleteThanks Red... I'm sure the week will be great!
It really saddens me to know the reviews aren't great so far, because Nalini is suck a great writer... but so far so good *wink*
ReplyDeleteI'm sure I will! Thanks Jessica!
ReplyDeleteHaha! I am like that sometimes, I just wanted to see how she goes in the Contemporary genre. I love the Guild Hunter and Psy-Changling series!
ReplyDeleteI know!! Looking forward to them! And Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI am just a Huss addict! Love her work!
ReplyDeleteI do too... looking forward to it! Dominic... yum!
ReplyDeleteI like Singh's other work, so I have my fingers crossed!
ReplyDeleteIt is going well... one more! And Heir of Fire, left me wanting more!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I am excited to be on the home stretch!
ReplyDeleteIt is great to get them all done, you feel relieved, I tell ya!
ReplyDeleteI'm reading it now... not bad so far!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had such a productive week, Naomi. I'm hoping to have one this week. (with school back in session, my week was crazy!) Good luck in this portion of your coursework and in net ball!! I hope you go all the way! ;) You picked up some sexy looking books this week. I might have to make sure I have then too. And isn't sleeping near Ford fabulous?!? ;)
ReplyDeleteYAY for productive weeks! I've been so busy lately, wish I could be productive :) I love the look of all the books you got; I'll definitely have to look into some of them!!
ReplyDelete*hugs*
Holy smokes you had such a productive week. I am jealous to the max. I am hoping this week is more productive but who knows. Another J.A. Huss book? I will never catch up. Netball sounds really cool (just looked it up) how long have you been playing? I have an ARC copy of The Jewel but I am DYING for Screwdriver. Need it soon! So glad you have such an awesome week!!
ReplyDeleteOh, sleeping near Ford rocks my world *wink*
ReplyDeleteFirst week of finals went well, we play the top side this week... fingers crossed.
My week has been productive... my kids all have lots of dress ups this week... Book week dress up tomoz!
Busy things happen, I tell ya! I might be like that soon!
ReplyDeleteI am excited about these reads... began one already!
I have played Netball since I was 15, but my daughter will play next year, so she will be 10. The younger the better i think! The ball coordination and team thing is great for kids!
ReplyDeleteThe Huss book was a prize and I love it!
Great haul. I hope you enjoy them all.
ReplyDeleteI hope so too!!
