Author: Cora Carmack
Series: Losing It #1.5
Genre: NA Contemporary Romance
Published: 15th August 2013Garrick Taylor and Bliss Edwards managed to find their happily-ever-after despite a rather . . . ahem . . . complicated start. By comparison, meeting the parents should be an absolute breeze, right?
But from the moment the pair lands in London, new snags just keep cropping up: a disapproving mother-in-law-to-be, more than one (mostly) minor mishap, and the realization that perhaps they aren't quite as ready for their future as they thought.
As it turns out, the only thing harder than finding love is keeping it.
I was a big fan of Cora Cormacks first book in this series, Losing It. Hell, I’m a fan of the whole series!! So when I saw that there was a novella coming out with Bliss and Garrick in it, I was really keen to get it! It is always exciting to see characters that you love again and continue with their story.
Keeping Her was a fun novella where we see how Bliss reacts to one of the biggest fears for a girl … To meet the in-laws! We already know that Bliss overreacts to things so it was entertaining to see her take this challenge on. This book travels to London and whilst they are there, Bliss and Garrick deal with a few issues, which in the end help strengthen their relationship. I liked seeing the inner workings of Garricks mind as Keeping Her is told in alternating POV’s. He has his own fears and insecurities as well, but having Bliss in his life helps him settle and remain positive. I also met some of Garricks friends, who I really liked!! They are witty guys and to see Garrick banter with them was fun. I hope to see more of them in the future… If you are a fan of the Losing It series, like I am, you are really going to enjoy this book!!
I received a copy of this book from the Publisher via Edelweiss in exchange for an honest review.
